I had contact with 3 different people about one role, and there was a lot of confusion about when (and if?!) I was coming in to do my registration documents, when I had clearly confirmed when I would do so. The recruiter didn't even bother to be at work for the meeting time she chose, and no-one knew I was coming. Had to give a random staff member a run down of my experience and what I was looking for (which I had already done). Main contact didn't bother to apologise or follow up, showing how little they care about their candidates, at the cattle market that is Morgan Hunt. Good luck ever getting a job description from them for a temp/contract role you are applying for either. What happened to the job? It was already filled, of course. I won their Temp of The Month prize once. In more recent times, following the credit crunch, I've had short term assignments but I'm enjoying the variety to be honest. A media company that Temps-Online introduced me to in February 2006 call me in directly from home and I fax over my timesheet to the agency. I've completed over a year's work since 2006 on and off with this media company. Jools Lambe is lovely! They also have Christmas parties for their temps. I usually get on with their clients although I've had a couple of bookings that I would not have stayed at because I didn't like the bosses (but fortunately these bookings were only for a few days anyway). Pay rates are average and I have been paid on time nearly always.

Well, I arrived and it was friendly enough. The receptionist was very nice, she checked my right to work and took a photo of me just for our records. She then gave me lots of forms to fill in which I started. The receptionist showed me an area with sofas where other job applicants were filling in forms too. I had only just started when my consultant came in, said hello, but then took the forms from me unfinished because she said there wasn't time to bother with all that because she was in a hurry. She then took me to an interview area with more sofas, asked me a couple of questions about my journey and where I lived, then said it was nice to meet me but she had to go to lunch now. I thought this was extremely rude and unprofessional, especially as SHE chose the time and date, and I had paid all my travel costs on the tube and train. I have emailed a couple of times but they have never been back in touch. I think they were well out of order and I wouldn't recommend them from this experience.

A waste of time as a recruitment agency. They were very positive and promised to contact me as soon as possible. A month went by and I had not heard anything. I made several attempts to contact someone at the agency to see about the possibilty of getting work and I was only told I would be contacted when a suitable position came up. I've spent the last five years working in various administrative office positions, so I have quite extensive clerical, secretarial and receptionist experience but I got no support or help from this job agency. After several more weeks I was contacted and offered an assignment of handing out leaflets on the street corner for £7/hr, which I declined. That was the last I've heard from them. Subsequently, I registered with another job agency and found full time work within two weeks. My advice is if you are serious about finding a job, do not look at Attic Recruitment for being any help at all. They are quite honestly a joke.
