I enjoyed almost every item we ordered, the Miso soup came out barely warm and a bit salty for my taste. However, my 19 year old son loved it lol The environment was quiet and I really enjoyed all the personalized fish on the wall. It gave a welcoming vibe. We went there for Valentine's Day. Our order didn't look right and even the waitress told us there was someone new cooking and that it doesn't look as pretty as it normally does. Calamari was so fishy we could not eat it. Then when our sushi came, same predicament. The service was slow even though there were only two tables in the restaurant at the time. The restaurant is very dark and the seating at the boots is terrible. If someone is sitting behind you in a booth, the back moves with them making you spill your drink or make you very uncomfortable the entire time. Just had another GREAT meal here. The bbq sushi is outstanding and the presentation with the fiery delivery to the table is very impressive. Service was very slow even though there were only three tables. We ordered calamari and vegetable tempura which tasted old and stale and was cold. Came in on a cold and rainy night. Was greeted at the door promptly and asked how many, I said 1 for dinner and was asked if I'd like to sit at the sushi bar. I said I'd like a table and got a little attitude I was taken to the first table and sat. This was bad for 2 reasons, 1) it was very cold and every time the door opened I was blasted in the face with cold air 2) it is Very dark in there, like a night club dark, and there wasn't a light within 5 ft of the table I ordered the rainbow combo and started with a miso soup to chase away the cold. The soup was very salty, like it wasn't diluted enough. Was tasty just a little too salty for me The Rainbow combo comes with nigiri in the form of 2 tuna 2 snapper and 2 salmon -and a rainbow roll Duh! The fish was all fresh and was really large pieces. I have a big mouth and usuallY shove the nigiri in in one bite but I had to cut these in half. I added shrimp as yellowtail nIgiri as well to make a nice meal. Rainbow roll was very good as well Service was good, very quick and efficient So efficient the Waitress dropped off the check while I was eating No do you want more or dessert, here you go. Ambiance: clean & colorful with children's drawings on the walls underneath what looked to be metallic fish. Food: Sushi was good and they have a good selection. BF ordered the rainbow roll & I ordered the South Beach Roll which is wrapped in cucumber rather than rice. So a low carb option. Would not recommend the appetizer, bang bang shrimp. I didn't eat any but BF said (& I could see) there were hardly any shrimp. I actually dissected 3 pieces & they were just blobs of batter hidden by the sauce. They were very big rolls and I wasn't able to finish. I enjoyed both roles but thought the Incredible Hulk was too big and I couldn't finish. Kamikaze wasn't spicy enough. Sushi was pleasantly fresh and the service was very good. A gem in NW Arkansas. The reason for only 3 stars was the atmosphere created by drama. Unfortunately one of the servers, by her tone the supervisor, was berating another server in front of all the customers. It was very uncomfortable for us and the poor recipient of the tongue lashing. The young lady even threw in a few F-bombs at that poor girl. I really felt bad for her because she seemed so helpless.
