Ive been coming to this site since my son was 2(He's nearly 29 now!)
What started as a very small garden centre has grown over the years going from Jardinerie to Blooms and amazingly the same knowledgable lady (Chrissy)still works there. At Christmas I went on a Saturday and was given a mince pie and glass of mulled wine as I looked around (join the garden club free and they send you info about promotions like this)&you can get points that you can use against future purchases.Theres a lovely bright cafe (complete with massive trees inside with their own resident wild birds!)i Its very busy and the food is good ,not cheap exactly ,but often have 'deals' ie 2 for 1 or afternoon tea etc
The reason I go so often (apart from the plants) is because there's a little toddler play area (under 5's only so they shouldnt get trampled on by older children)You can promise your child if they're good while you look at your seeds ,plants whatever ,they can play while you have a cup of tea! They've got a 'The works' book shop and a camping shop too. read more
