Our chimney crown had been originally installed without expansion joint between crown and flue. When it cracked I had less knowledgeable chimney sweep co. put a sealer on crown, which failed. Craig removed and replaced crown with high psi compound, expansion joint, correct drip edges and flashing. Couldn't be happier.

BIG MISTAKE!!!! Do NOT, I repeat---DO NOT CALL THEM!!!! One of our chimney caps came loose in strong winds. Called and owner came out and gave an estimate of $250.00 to get up there and turn the cap back into place. We said ok. He said they would be back out on Tuesday to fix it. Workers came Tuesday to fix it-we thought. No!!! Instead we were charged $189.00 to have them run a camera up the shoot! Took no more than FIVE minutes. THEN we were given another quote of $1,523.00 to get up there and twist cap back into place!!!!!!!!! $1,523.00!!!!!!! We called the owner back and asked why they didn't fix the cap that day for the $250.00 quote he gave us?!!!! And I asked him why they charged us $189.00 for a 3-minute camera look. He -the OWNER-said he had no idea and that he would look at our file and get back to me!!!!!! Well----an ENTIRE MONTH later and we are still waiting!!!! We are out the ridiculous charge of 189.00 and our cap still isn't fixed!!!!!! Pathetic. We blame ourselves for not adhering to the negative comments. Don't make the same mistake!!!!

They mentioned that I would receive an estimate the next week and would include some possible gas inserts. I waited 2 weeks and then sent email to company of which the owner asked what city I am in. After that I did not receive any responses. I ended up calling and leaving at least 2 messages on phone of which they never called back. I finally gave up on them and told them in email that I would never recommend them to anyone of which I got a response to right away saying "Why?" Please do not use them if you are hoping for any response!

They were prompt to return my message, helped me with an estimate, and got me scheduled. Tom from Mr. Picky came out the next day to do the work. He had special equipment including scrubbing heads to do the job right. There was a pretty bad traffic trail that I was hoping would come out. It DID!! You can't even see a trace of it. There was black metal dust on the carpet and he got it all up(look closely at the pic). Plus, Tom used a deodorizing soap, so everything smelled nice and clean. Speaking of nice and clean, Tom was that way. He is a broad shouldered, polite young man, free of tattoos, non-smoking, well spoken. Someone I would introduce my daughters to! Great work guys, I am SO impressed.
