The foot showers beside the parking area was nice when it was time to go home. Next time we would bring water shoes in case we wanted to swim.

Melmerby is located in beautiful Pictou County about 2 hours from the city. It has lots of…read moreparking, great washroom facilities, a canteen and some of the warmest water in Nova Scotia. I usually try to make the trip at least once each summer and it never disappoints. Great swimming and it is lifeguarded as well. I really recommend coming here as you really don't find water this warm at the beaches in Halifax. A great way to spend a day!
