Well I immediately felt comfortable when I met Luck over the phone, and was very happy with the prices we agreed upon. It's difficult to be out of town because poor Luck was riding a bit blind by only going off of a handful of pictures I'd lobbed over email and I didn't have the ability to come and point out the flowers I liked. So on the big day - my Stepmom came to pick the flowers up and sent me pictures. Luck had perfectly combined all of the pictures I'd sent! I talked to Wanda and I told her I needed a very special arrangement for a friend's daughter who is battling cancer. I told Wanda that this women's favorite color was red and I talked about something I saw on their website. However it wasn't their website it was one of these 1-800 numbers that don't do arrangements. As Wanda explained to me those companies, FTD, put pictures that look nice and when you call them, after taking your money, they in turn call businesses in the city where you want your flowers to come from and ask if they can make a bouquet like what you wanted. I don't know who makes all the money but I think it's the 1-800 companies. I was warned about this years ago from a friend who worked in a florist shop. Bottom line call Clements directly. Of course, the flowers were beautiful, and even though I only spent $7, the shop keeper took great care to wrap them up, as if they were the most precious things in the world.
