It's taken me a few weeks to write this review- but I THOUGHT about writing it everyday, multiple times a day. Every single time I brushed or washed or fixed my hair in fact. I had not had my hair professionally cut in almost a decade, and for the first time in my life, it had grown quite long. I was incredibly nervous to let somebody chop away at it, although I knew I desperately both a cut and some advice. Not ever having long hair, I had no idea how to properly care for it, and it was in major need of some intense TLC. Charity. My girl Charity. Not only was she so incredibly sweet and kind- I could feel the good vibes coming off her the second I saw her- but she really listened to my requests and concerns. It was fascinating to watch her work- she was deft and quick. You can tell she'd been doing hair for some time. And while she cut, I asked her questions on how to better car for my hair, and she gave absolutely the best tips. She kept every millimeter of my length that she could while trimming away all the split and breakage and dry dead ends and gave me some lovely long layers that are easy to manage as a toddler mom. My hair looks fantastic and feels so silky and healthy! Like I said, everytime I do anything to it, I'm reminded of the power of a professional hairdresser. It's impacted my daily life having manageable hair again. I cannot speak enough good things about Charity. And I will certainly be scheduling a twice yearly trim with her from now on! read more

I went in last week for a haircut by Laurel. I love my cut! While there we discussed color and highlights. Laurel walked me through what to expect and showed me samples depending on how my hair would lighten. I just returned from my appointment for root touch up and partial highlights. It's been a long time since I loved my hair. I love my new look! The highlights look natural and will help with maintenance. So glad I found Laurel! read more

this was my first time at bloom hair designs and i looked up various salons in canton,ga and this seemed the best. i went in for full highlites but came out of there looking worse than i went in and the highlites are hardly seen. i feel the chloe, only being in the hair business for 3 years could surely be better than she was. i guess i should have asked for an experienced stylist. and when it came to the bill it was $175 which i have never paid before and i didnt even get a hair cut. i am not a happy customer. all i know is that the price nearly put me in debt. read more

Such a great place to get your hair cut or colored! I've had appointments with Chelsey, Jana and Josh. Josh is my go-to hair guy! I only get my hair cut like 1-2x a year but when it's time to get a haircut, I book it with Josh! Atmosphere: Pretty chill, music isn't too loud so you don't need to scream when talking Appointments: easy to book online and some offer late appointments like 8pm (which is perfect for me) Parking: Easy b/c it's in a shopping center so plenty of parking Will be back for color! read more

I had a consultation with a very nice gentleman because the two young ladies on the desk recommended him for what I needed. I explained that what I need and he seemed to know exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, he didn't and I was very disappointed. Especially when I have thick curly hair that he blow dried and left. My hair requires to be flat ironed otherwise looks awful. Well he didn't even have a flat iron with his station and when I asked him he looked like a deer in head lights. I was so upset walking out of the salon because my hair looked awful. You want to go out of a salon feeling good. I Absolutely did not! There were a lot of young ladies who looked very talented hair stylists I have no idea why they matched me with the young man and not them. I guess I will never know. I couldn't say how I felt when leaving and I even left him a tip. I was way too embarrassed. read more

Great hair cut. BUT color was exactly what I said I DIDNT WANT. I made my disappointment clear. No offer to correct. 5 stars for blunt cut, 1 star for color. Got my color corrected the next day at a different salon that will be my mainstay from now on. read more

I told my stylist I wanted grey hair. Ended up with blonde which I absolutely told them I didn't want. Nothing was done to rectify the situation other than told to come back and pay full price to get it fixed. You get what you get at bloom whether it's what you wanted or not! read more

I called ahead to make an appointment for blonde highlights for a wedding that I was attending. If the highlights were successful, then I was going to recruit the other girls in the wedding to this salon . when I arrived at the salon, I was greeted by a very sweet girl that was not my hairstylist. Then the hairstylist came to the chair. She looked close to 15 years old? I told her that I was here to have my highlights done , and she told me that she cannot do my highlights. She has never done highlights before this was the first time she was on the floor. She had to consult with the owner via phone on how to do my highlights for 45 min, and left me in the chair the entire time? I was very confused and baffled that they would have somebody on the floor that has no experience at all to do somebody's highlights . I asked her if I could speak to the owner She said yes, and handed me the phone The owner said that they cannot do my highlights ,because my hair was already blonde ? Basically, I needed my highlights done for a wedding as I had done my roots two weeks prior with a base color . The salon was so unprofessional They wasted my time that I had put aside to have the treatment done, which was not done . She left for 45 minutes talking to the boss leaving me in the chair Then she came back and said she could only do one little strip of highlights on the top of my head . Like a skunk, but charging me for a full head?? I asked her , do you really think that that's going to look good for somebody's wedding? I will look like a skunk.! At that point I decided to go down the street to "Mood Salon" They were very welcoming The place was amazing They did my highlights beautifully and they treated me like gold. I will definitely be returning to Mood Salon. I would not recommend Bloom hair design And if I could give them a zero I would, but I had to give them 1 read more

I finally found a hairdresser that listens, and takes the time to correctly layer my hair. She didn't crimp my hair and use a ton of stiff hairspray for fullness. It's like Becca has a magic wand. This salon is very comfortable and I will definitely be going again and again! read more

Bloom was excellent. I have BIG scares going to a new salon as I've had the nightmare experience everyone fears. However, bloom exceeded my expectations. The salon was clean, calm, and had a very pleasant feel. Madison West cut my hair (I needed a perfect cut for my wedding) and she was excellent! She continually made sure every element was what I wanted, and explained the process before proceeding to the next step. My layers were blended perfectly, so no choppy layers! Being 45 as you can imagine I've tried SEVERAL salons over the course of my years both in Ohio and Georgia now that I live here. Bloom is the best of the best. Both my mom and I go to Ragan and she is out of this world PHENOMENAL for color and cut. I have been to Ragan 3-4 times and she just nails it with color and what I like best is that she takes her time. Oh and her scalp massages.................ahhhhhh the best. My mom and I just love her. We are now fully committed to a salon for the 1st time ever I do believe. Highly recommend the salon and all the employees there are fantastic. Since I don't live an hour away anymore I started going back to this salon. And the new salon is GORGEOUS! First of all, you don't have to stress about finding parking and/or walking up the death stairs. Second, the salon is very trendy looking and much more open. While the decor and atmosphere shouldn't be a make-it or break-it point, it sure does make it a more pleasant experience. And finally, I started getting my color done by Stephanie. She is fabulous! So easy to talk to and funny. She has done my full highlights perfectly each time and I even have bounced ideas off of her for future coloring adventures. I went to this salon for the first time during Thanksgiving week. For the record, I don't live in Georgia. I came from NY to visit family. My sister-in-law recommended this salon because it was close to her home, and I wanted to get my hair touched up before the holiday. I had a rose gold balayage done with Stephanie and it was phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about her and the fabulous job she did. She was so sweet and knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. I loved it so much that I am considering flying in from NY for hair appointments every so often. LOVE BLOOM! Went in to get a pretty funky hair cut (VERY SHORT) and I have really curly hair, which can be a nightmare with the wrong stylist but I was beyond ecstatic with the end result.
