Anne created two large wedding arrangements for our wedding, and we were absolutely thrilled with their beauty, and that they matched our personalities, our spirit, and the style of our wedding. I knew that we were working with a professional when in her store she requested to see a picture of my wedding dress (in hiding so that my husband couldn't see!), and then in a snap, recommended a flower arrangement and colors that would match the style of my dress and wedding. I also appreciated how easy it was to work with her, and that she suggested flowers and pedestals for our wedding at a price that would work for us. That was immensely helpful for us in managing the wedding details and our budget, and we were confident that we'd have a wedding arrangement that suggested a Swedish summer. The delicate notes of cornflower blue and yellow in the arrangement made me so happy! At any rate, I would happily recommend Power Flower to anyone seeking a Wedding Florist in Copenhagen, Denmark. Anne was an absolute spitfire and ball of energy, and I have to add this one bit: When visiting her flower shop, I didn't see a SINGLE brown petal on any of her flowers, nor did I see anything even remotely sickly. This is a woman who knows and loves her flowers, loyal subjects that clearly grow happily in Anne's care. We'd definitely use PowerFlower again for an event in Copenhagen should the need arise.

We were ridiculously excited to shop at Tiger when we arrived in Copenhagen, and it did not disappoint. (I think Tiger was seriously the highlight of our time in Copenhagen.) Tiger is kind of a cross between a dollar store and IKEA. It is amazing. Prices are cheap, and the items aren't just cute, but functional too, as they have a variety of housewares. Due to luggage weight and size restrictions I couldn't buy a lot, but I did buy a few random bits and pieces. One of the items my sister and I bought were those pink luggage tags with the red heart (I'm sure everyone who's been in a Tiger store knows what I'm talking about). While waiting for our luggage at the airport we saw several suitcases sporting that tag, and figured that it must be a common item at some store. So when we saw them at Tiger, we each bought one, just for the sake of it. I wish there were a Tiger store in Vancouver!

Pros: - Cheap! - Notebooks are around 10-30DKK each - You can get your everyday stuff here: dishes, utensils, alarm clocks, etc... - Spices are sold in little packs Cons: - Material doesn't last long - I mean it's cheap so that makes up for it
