After we filed it I called and went into the office no less than 8 times over the next year inquiring about my taxes.. Every time I called I got a different story. One time I was told not to worry because I had an additional extension due to a federal hurricane declaration. Another time I was told Bill was on vacation and he would call me back. Still other times I was told they were working on it and they would update me. Nobody ever returned my calls or kept me in the loop about anything. Finally, I started receiving letters from the IRS about paying my overdue taxes. Even when I called and told them this I was again told they would call me back. I finally ended up having to go a different route to file my taxes. In the end I payed four times the cost of going to a different accountant in late penalties and interest. They lacked the basic professionalism to tell me they weren't handling my tax return so I could get ahead of it and handle it differently. They just strung me along while it cost me thousands of dollars extra. Bill always seems very overworked and he will keep you hanging about the status of your taxes. I cannot recommend this CPA to anyone under any circumstances!

We did not want to leave things to the end, nor did we want to file an extension. He emailed some worksheets to complete and bring along. When we got to our appt, Bill spent the first 1/2 hour-45min talking about his life in the 1970's, the band he was in, showing us his instruments, and playing us music. He was very dismissive when we tried to ask questions, tell him about our past tax filings or provide items we thought would be needed. Literally tossing the paper aside. We stressed over and over that we did not want to file an extension, yet he kept talking about it. In email correspondence on 4/12/19 stated he had filed an extension for us! I was irate and told him we needed the taxes completed by the deadline. Our taxes were not completed until 4/15/19. I went to his office to pick them up and his bill was $1000!! The previous CPA charged us $690 and nothing had changed with our situation. I told him I thought his bill was excessive, but he would not budge. Complete ripoff and yet he had us over a barrel. We wen't to Frank to file for 2019 and he held our documents for over 6 months. We called, left messages, and Frank never got back to us. We we're handed off to some woman that he works with named Anna and she would never return our calls or emails either so we finally decided to pick our documents up and find a different accountant. They took over a week to release our documents to us and I have emails from Frank stating that Anna took our personal documents home with her. On top of that, we just found out from the IRS that my husbands taxes from 2015, 16, 17, and 18 that Frank was in charge of and my husband PAID Frank to file, we're kicked back. Did Frank communicate that to my husband? No.The IRS had not reached out to my husband either, he called to check on things for his 2019 and set up a payment plan and they told him "we cant process your 2019 until we have your past 4 years" I am not sure what Frank does all day besides dodge phone calls and emails but you do not want him handling your private information.

I needed someone to navigate the tax laws as to selling and buying homes and taxes in two states. Really not difficult for a CPA. The bottom line is the taxes simply weren't done and I had to file extensions in multiple years and pay fines simply because the taxes were not completed --even though the info was received in plenty of time. No excuse was ever given--But the bills arrived on time.
