I won't get into the details of my civil case or the specifics of the fees, but I will say this office handled a case for me that I could not be more grateful for. No, they didn't win me a large settlement or anything like that. What they did was give me peace of mind at a time when I needed it most, and handled my case brilliantly with a very reasonable flat fee.

I fell 15 feet from a forklift at work. I suffered damage to my arms & legs. I had to have 7 surgeries and lost a muscle in my calf muscle. It took over a year to recover. Thoughout my entire ordeal Steve Segar was there for me whenever I needed him. He was most professional, fought and got my workers'compensation claim award. Segar & Sciortino help me through a very difficult time, without them I would have been completely lost & frustrated with the system. I feel blessed to have them as my representative as I would never have been able to deal with all the issues with the insurance company on our own. I cannot imagine how I would have gone through this ordeal without them. I highly recommend Segar & Sciortino with any Worker Comp or Disability Claims.

I was literally ignored by the WC Insurance Company and by my employer, actually it was worse than that. So I decided that it is time to reach out and I emailed Segar & Sciortino. My call was returned by Cristian Cruzado and he was patient and listened to me. While my case is still being sorted out at this time, and it might be a while until we can put it behind me, without Cristian's work, advice and guidance, I would still be lost and most definitely would have given up which is precisely what my employer, their lawyers and the WC Insurance had in mind from the beginning. I absolutely recommend Segar & Sciortino and especially Cristian Cruzado!!!

But as the days grew closer, I started questioning myself as to if I would be able to win my case alone. I then decided it would be best if I'd hire a lawyer. I came across Leticia's name - along with many other lawyers - , but seen that she did FREE CONSULTATIONS, i called her right away. I met with Leticia on a Friday, told her my situation and let her know my hearing was only a couple days away. After speaking to her for about an hour, she gave me the confidence that everything would be alright and just to stay positive. I knew then, she would be the perfect lawyer for my case. She spent the rest of her Friday evening and her whole weekend reviewing and preparing my case (who would ruin their whole weekend just for me?? Leticia did!). When the hearing day finally came, we walked out of the court room with flying colors. Leticia did a great job, she knew exactly what she was doing and knew exactly what she was saying. Leticia Astacio is the BEST LAWYER EVER!! I would definitely recommend her to EVERYONE I know.
