Poor comms, unprofessional tone, and last-minute changes I rarely leave negative reviews...or reviews at all for that matter... but as a former Yelp elite and avid traveler, my experience with Bliss Wine Tours warrants it. I booked my tour in advance through Viator, and the confirmation clearly stated that pick-up would be from my resort, Mii Amo. Less than 24 hours before the tour, I received a text saying they do not pick up from Mii Amo and that I'd need to get myself to the public library instead. This was a complete surprise -- there was no heads-up after booking, no mention of this in the listing, and no prior outreach to clarify. I had planned around the originally confirmed pickup time and location. I politely asked if we could adjust pickup slightly within the published range (which said 10:30), but instead of a collaborative response, I was met with defensive, dismissive replies and told my resort was a "random location" -- despite the website confirming it at time of booking. When I suggested they clarify the misleading listing and improve their communication with Viator, I was told I was being "aggressive" and they unilaterally canceled my tour. To be clear: I was never rude, I simply expected a basic level of accountability and professionalism. Instead, I was gaslit and blamed for calling out their operational issues -- and then penalized for speaking up. Being a paying customer who voices valid concerns being aggressive. If you're considering this tour, be warned: the tone shifts quickly from friendly to condescending the moment you flag an issue. And if your pickup isn't simple for them logistically, they'll cancel on you instead of owning the error. Travelers deserve better. read more

My friends and I had such a fun time on this tour, especially because our tour guide Benjamin was the best! Super sweet and easy to talk to, told us a lot about the area too. The company offers to pick you up from where you're staying or if you're too far away, there's a meet up place. We went on 4 vineyards total - Alcantara, Javelina Leap, Page Cellars, and D.A. Ranch. We probably spent about an hour at each one which was perfect. There's complimentary water, champagne glasses if you buy a bottle of wine, snack box for each guest, and then you can connect to the bluetooth as well. We even got a text on Saturday confirming pick up time. We realize that was an automated text, but it doesn't matter. It still went out. So on Sunday, we were ready at the designated time and, of course, they did not show. One of the people in our party, after multiple messages, finally got hold of a person. They did agree to a refund. Well, the person that booked the tour, just got notice that Bliss denied the refund! Horrible way to run a business. The 5 of us will be blasting negative reviews every where. STEER CLEAR!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND. We ended up having way more fun on our own visiting a winery and a brewery of our choosing. Can't say enough good things about this wine tour and this company. It's $99/person and you hit four wineries - we had Alcantara, Oak Creek, Javelina, and Page Springs. The tastings were not included in the price, but they are slightly discounted and our guide did treat us to a nice picnic. It was 10 in our group, and very COVID safe and friendly. Our guide was Jorge and he was phenomenal. He personally knew the folks at the wineries, and was very knowledgeable about the wines, the region, and history. And just general great vibes. TLDR: Bliss Wine discriminated against me for having a service animal & denied my request to make a reservation. More context: I initially emailed Bliss Wine on 8/4/24 inquiring if they had space for me on January 17th (5+ months away). I made mention I have a service animal, provided photos of us at vineyards, and offered to provide/complete paperwork to validate my service animal (something that is not legally required to do due to HIPAA but I proactively offer so small business owners feel more comfortable). They did not reply. I followed up 8/6. They responded stating my service animal is too large ("we only allow 15 pounds or less"). I reiterated she is a service animal & explained she sits on my lap, while reminding them I am requesting a weekday (not busy weekend) and about the American Disability Act ("ADA"). They didn't reply. I followed up 8/8. The entire email said, "Following up - since under the American Disability Act this should not be an issue. If it is, please point me in the direction of your supervisor." They responded citing other participants' comfort ("It would depend on how the other guests react.") and did not connect with me a supervisor as I requested. Note, with 5+ months advance notice for a weekday tour, they can easily let guests know that a service animal would be joining (a "reasonable accommodation" to how they operate). Under the American Disability Act, their refusal to accommodate someone with a disability is discriminatory - especially because it does not cause an "undue hardship" when handled appropriately - while their inability to respond in a timely manner to my inquiries is poor business practice. I should not have to convince a business to honor a federal law - nor should I have to convince them not to discriminate against me for having a service animal accompany me. I doubt the better business bureau would appreciate this form of treatment either. This is a terrible experience for any potential customer, especially one with a disability. I do not want any person with a service animal to experience this form of treatment and discrimination which is why I am posting this review. It's truly a shame because this was supposed to be my 40th birthday present to myself (which I disclosed in my email) and they found a way to sour what was intended to be a celebratory milestone. read more

Mercedes sprinter van, hangover kit, charcuterie boards (which we got to eat at the 2nd winery!), and 3 extra bottles of bubbly! It was a snowy day and Frank took such good care of us! This is my second wine tour that I've done and to be sincere this is more of a shuttle service rather than a wine tour. We had a remodeled ford sprinter van, not what is described in description, and it smelt of exhaust so bad that I almost got sick! Wine or flights are NOT included, like described on Groupon, we only received a small discount at 1 vineyard, even though details in the fine print say wine included and for the price we should have. Since ALL of the vineyards are within 2-7 minutes from each other we all felt as a group that $100 per person is quite steep for a total of 40 minutes of driving time and zero wine on the wine tour. Came to Sedona for a girls weekend and booked with Bliss for a last second wine tour. Frank our guide came right on time to our hotel. We got lucky and had a small group of people. We made four stops to different wineries and during the drive Frank gave us a little tour of the area and talked about the places we'd be going. Frank was absolutely phenomenal he spent the right amount of time talking in the bus, we all felt like we learned a lot. At each stop he was right there for any needs and questions or to take a picture. Everywhere was super busy and Frank was jumping right in even to help guests outside our tour group. He got us into one of the back rooms at one of the wineries to see the barrels which was super cool. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. My only complaint is that the $100 fee to do the tour doesn't include any wine. You have to pay at each location so at the minimum if you got something at each stop you're looking at $200 minimum for the tour and that only gets you about 4 glasses of wine. Also the charcuterie they include was pretty good but the cheeses could definitely be a little nicer they felt like they were super basic grocery store cheese.
