It is nice and quiet plus they have some computers there, so it's an excellent place to work or study and you can pop to the Morrison's for some lunch. The staff are nice and friendly too. They have a photocopier there and they can reserve and order in books (for a small fee). It also a nice place to take your children and get them into reading.

We would sit in there practically for hours on end reading books, we practically begged our mum to go down there with us so she could let us join the library, she eventually agreed. We would usually get the maximum amount of books out that we were allowed and weirdly enough read them all before the week was up. They have a little table where we would occasionally sit and do our home work. You could loan books, magazines, baby toys and video tapes (probably DVD's now as well). As for the campus in England, it's located on some lovely grounds for those who are able to visit or actually attend courses there. But, for those who are remote (including Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, etc.), your degree is obtainable with a simple point and click... There is available photocopying and memory cards at additional charge. There are couple activity session for different groups. I regularly participate in "sing-a-song" meetings for parents with small children on Tuesday mornings at 10am. Great fun for kids, my daughter loves it, friendly environment too. There is library section for small kids aswell. There is a car park by the library, but during the day always full.

This library is huge! It's on two floors, with the upstairs being the main lending library divided into kids, adult fiction and adult non-fiction. Downstairs on one side there's the reference library which is very good and run by people who are very helpful too, and then on the other side there's a section full of stuff on family history and they have micro feche readers and a full database of births deaths and marriages too. Great if like me you like that sort of thing. Oh they also have cd's and dvd's available to borrow too, although you do pay a small fee to borrow these it's a lot lower than you'd pay borrowing them from a video shop, and you get to borrow them for longer too.

This library has a lage collection of CD's and DVD's which I know some do not have. Even though it costs 50p to a £1 to get them out, it's still a lot cheaper than buying them. In the last couple of years they have really tried to make the Library a nicer place - they have a lot more activities for children now and they have also put a little cafe in. The availability of computers is also good. I feel this library is accesible to everyone as they have a lift to reach all the levels.
