When I go to church or a church group, I don't want to just walk away feeling like I attended something and then go back to the same routine. I want to leave changed. I want to leave with hope, encouragement, and a reminder that God is still working in me. I want to feel inspired, challenged, and have things to pray about and ponder on. I want to grow in wisdom, strengthen my faith, and continue becoming the person God is calling me to be. I'm grateful for a place where people encourage each other, build each other up, and help each other grow closer to Christ. I'm excited for what God is doing and thankful He led me here.

Sweetie's cousin passed away, and they had the service here. Now, I'm not religious (Sweetie is a bit) but I've been to church. A lot. This isn't big, isn't fancy, but the building is nice enough on the outside and the interior is great. Not extravagant, but just right. And everyone here was wonderful. The pastor talked to us and the rest of the family, and put together a very appropriate service. His assistants were also caring and helpful, and the group of teen singers were spot on. As a church, hey, it depends on what you're into. But as a place for a service, this was just right. We felt welcomed and loved, and they dealt with a big family at a bad time in a way that felt like they were family too.

My mom and other family members also attend from time to time. While I've rarely gone for normal service, I have attended events here. My cousin got married here years ago and my grandmother's funeral was also held here recently. Every experience was good, or at least as good as it could be. There's a giant parking lot in the front of the church, which happens to be on the opposite side of the building that faces the street. It's rather large with wings for children and even a gym with a stage. They recently got a new pastor and I have had nothing but good experiences with him. I'm grateful for the community here and what they have done for my family.
