My Mother in law went in for the first time to get a haircut. Before her appointment she had a consultation over the phone with Ms Fox the stylist and the day of the appointment she showed her a picture for reference. The stylist Ms Fox Said she can do it but she didn't even get close to the picture. She cut more then she was supposed to and left her hair with no curl definition like she asked and explained in the beginning. It looked like she got nothing done and spent over $200. My mother in law left crying upset how Ms Fox left her hair. She then called the salon today to speak with the owner Paula Britt to explain what happened but paula did not apologized for anything that happened. She actually asked for proof of a before and after Picture and then said " theirs always two versions" she didn't make her feel as a customer heard! and was unapologetic about the situation. All she did was defend her stylist and not care how my mother in law felt about how Ms Fox left her hair. She didn't want a refund! all she wanted was to be heard. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional and poor ownership! read more

My sister and I had appointments scheduled for 8:30 & 9:00a.m. Paula Britt the stylist arrived after 9:30 without any apology! She was obviously not in any hurry. My service was a cut and style my sister was getting hi lights. After a lot of confusion about my sister's highlights and 6 hours later we finally left. My sister's hair smells burned. Not a good experience at all. read more

Nice perm. The assistant did a lot of the work. The salon itself is immaculate. I love the pixie cut but unfortunately at this time can not afford to pay over $300 for full service as needed approximately every 6 to 8 weeks not including biweekly appointments which would be needed if you really want to keep your hair up. Besides pricing and wait time for me, everything else was good. read more

I've been on the hunt for a new stylist for about a year and half. After cycling through several stylist for various reason (nice but not a great stylist, bad attitude, no flexibility, silly salon policies and fees, etc.) I came across this salon and the work of Paula, the owner, on Instagram. I was quite impressed. Beautiful, clean, serene, stylish salon (almost kinda "spa-ish"). A very friendly staff, and from what I can tell, All of these ladies can do some hair! Paula was so sweet, too, and I looooooove my hair! She even let me sample some of her banana pudding and gave me a few cooking tips:-) I think the long search for a stylist is finally over! read more

I have been trying to get to Blendz Salon for about a year now. I finally made it there earlier this month and was not disappointed. The service was great and my stylist LaFaye was fantastic. I had the chance to meet the owner, Paula Britt and she was as lovely and friendly as I imagined she would be. Thank you Blendz for making my visit great and I loved my hair. Every time I get to Atlanta I will be sitting in that Salon. read more

Wonderful!!! I can't say enough. I'm a Latina with fine hair and they were welcoming, knowledgeable and patient with ALL questions I had. Lol Extremely friendly and professional. Paula the owner has such a wonderful aura to her. She is just soothing and makes you feel like you will be in great hands. Joanne was my stylist and she was sweet, honest and did such a great job with my hair. I got a partial weave, my first time. She chose the hair and colored it to match mine. I was very nervous but she did such a great job. Very impressed. The staff was just so sweet and offered up constructive ideas. Just such a great experience. Love love this place. Im from Boston and totally see me flying here just to get my hair done. Thank you. thank you. read more

Clean, beautiful, modern salon. You can see the staff really cares about their customers and the result of their work. You sometimes even see them practicing on wigs, creating new styles and colors. They seem to do an amazing job on wigs I saw created that had excellent quality hair. I may have to try one soon. They are so relaxed and friendly. I really liked spending time here. Despite the long drive, as I live south of the city right now, I like stylists who not only take time do a good job, but leave with a sense of peace (does that make sense)... I will definitely be back! read more

Great experience! Paula was kind, informative, and most importantly-- on time! I will defiantly be going back! The staff was extremely attentive and professional-- I love the service and the outcome was quite impressive! As a newbie to relaxed hair, I had over fried and under dyed my tresses, but today, Paula got my hair together! I highly recommend this salon especially to folks like me who don't know what to do with their own hair!! read more

I was scheduled to see Paula. Long story short I was told by Paula tht she does not do natural hair but she wld do mine bc I was not told tht upon making my appt. Well the only service Paula provided for me was color (which came out great) even though my ears are burning from the dye. They did not use any base to coat my ears nor my forehead. However I was passed onto someone else to blow dry n flat iron my hair which pissed me but I was like ok. Well my hair looks like I curled it at home! I paid over $100 including the tip for some bullshit ass flat ironing. I called Paula the same night n told her I was not happy she told me to come back the next day. Well I called n she was not there( I thought she was going to fix it..WRONG) I called today 9-22 n s/w Paula n she advised me tht the same lady tht flat ironed my hair was going to fix it. Well no thank you. I am very disappointed with the services as well as the treatment, I was treated like a walk in. Disappointed customer... Sirena Jones read more

I visited Blendz today for the first time... loved it! Brian P. (grasshopper LOL) Took such great care of me & my hair! The staff was so pleasant and professional! I am a former stylist and pay attention to details and professionalism... I had not been in a "traditional " salon in years; just hated to spend 4 hours on my day off getting my hair done... I noticed the stylists were busy and NONE OF THEIR CLIENTS WERE JUST SITTING & WAITING Nice!!! Everyone walked out looking fabulous...including me! Great haircut Brian! I love it... Thank you... See you soon! read more

I met my stylist TAMIRA 8 months ago during what I would call a hair crisis from another salon. Someone told me to call Blendz. TAMIRA answered I explained the situation and as calm as her spirit, she says, come see me now! She has been the best I've had since moving to Atlanta. I love her professionalism as well as she keeps me fly. Try her, you will not be disappointed read more

I found Paula about 5 years ago or so after a botched job at another salon. Not only did she take the time to address my concerns, find out about my personality and style to deliver the best looks for me, I was also able to develop a confidence level that I could sit in her chair and let her literally do whatever she wanted to my hair. Yes there are about a thousand salons in Atlanta but I refuse to have a hair affair with any of them - not today, not ever.... #teamblendz read more

Good: Very kind and professional staff; Great hair style; Professional environment; It's located above a beauty supply shop and nail salon and spa. Bad: Extremely expensive as they charge you for everything individually (paid $150 for a relaxer, cut, and style for my very short hair); Worse, the stylist used quotidian hair products, like Pantene; Also, the stylist claimed to do eyebrows but all he did was shape the top of my eyebrows with a razor; The wait was long; It took long to receive my services and leave. read more

I am a former client of Paula's from 15 years ago. I was recently visiting Atlanta and scheduled an appointment with her. As always I left feeling beautiful and totally satisfied with my service. The salon is beautiful, the staff is friendly and professional. The salon has a beautiful atmosphere and you can tell that is because Paula is truly a leader and a master of her craft. Thank you so much for my service and I look forward to my next visit. read more

In the search for a professional serene salon environment ... this is it. It took me a long time to find a stylist in Atlanta that is about hair care and maintenance of healthy hair. Very clean, serene Spa-like salon. I drove from Michigan with damaged hair from the Pandemic trusting only Instagram photos of Paula's skills. Let me tell you Paula is warm, beautiful and those hands are magical. She makes you feel the same when you sit in her chair. Her staff is also very warm and friendly. Even the other clients were sweet and kind. They were all truly a reflection of the stylist. I absolutely love my Pixie. I showed Paula a picture of what I wanted, she examined my hair and said we can do it and you will love it. She also gave so much feedback on what may have caused the damage and some solutions to avoid it happening again. There is magic in how she knows just what to do to accentuate your features. I feel beautiful, sexy and confident again. I cannot sit down! If you are contemplating cutting off your hair Paula will make that short hair absolutely gorgeous. I can't say it enough I just love my hair. Thanks Paula! read more

I would give this salon 6 STARS if I could! The service is amazing. I was greeted at the door as soon as I walked in. The shop is beautifully decorated and clean as you would expect in an upscale salon. I was in and out in a little over an hour. I received a wash, trim, and style and my hair was perfection. I received compliments all day! Paula was friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for better! Top Notch Service... I'm not even from Atlanta but i'll be back soon! read more

Tamira J is AMAZING! She's professional, timely, courteous and extremely skilled in her craft. I came to Tamira with damaged hair, after wearing braids, my hair is now back to a healthy state in less than 4 months,( I have weekly appointments) and its all because of Tamira!!! read more

I needed my hair washed and pressed out about a week and a half ago so I call and made a walk in appt with the lady who answered the phone, Joanne. When I arrived I didn't have to wait she started immediately which was great. She checked through my hair and then washed me up. She offered me the hydration system which I denied after being told it was 25 dollars, then she came back and said she would do it complimentary, so I did it. She blew dry my hair half way and sat me under the dryer. She the. started to "press" my hair. I am natural so I already knew she was not getting my roots but I let her continue. When she finished she asked me if she could clean up my ends, I'm assuming she is just going to snip a few ends that are straggling but she did a whole trim. Then she said she was done. I ran my hands through my hair and it was puffy. It honestly looked way better before I came in. She offered to go through it again and I let her. It was still puffy after she did it again. I was mad at this point. She told me the total was 90 dollars. 90 damn dollars. 25 for a trim that I didn't ask for and 65 for a puffy press. Not only was I overcharged but the job done on my hair was horrible. I am still pissed off. read more

Regarding Stylist: Tamira Jones I had my first experience at Blendz with stylist Tamira Jones. She gave me a much need transformation that included a precision cut. I am so excited about my new cut and color. I felt totally comfortable in her chair for the very first time. That's because Tamira is very professional and caring She is an active and mindful listeners. She takes pride in her clients new or old. She greets everyone. She is also very very timely without rushing Tamira also provides you with her professional expertise to help you as client make the BEST decision for your hair. I would also like to add Tamira can do long, short or in between hair. What I love is she is all about HEALTHY hair no matter the length. Needless to say I left Tamira with confirmed standing appointments. She is more than a 5 star stylist. She is a timely & caring stylist that I would trust her doing my family & friends hair. So happy I found Tamira Jones! read more

This salon is just beautiful...THE Staff was great...The Service was simply OUTSTANDING!!

This is by far the WORST salon experience I have ever had. The ONLY reason I even went was because my sister got her hair done a few years ago by Paula and Blendz is suppose to be an upscale salon in plus I was looking for somewhere different to go. Well let's just say it was a big mistake. My appointment was at 9am I was 5 mins late because of traffic however Paula did not get started on my hair until 25 or 30 mins later. Before starting on my hair I told her I'm in the process of growing my hair out (my hair is in the between stage of growing out a short hair cut, she asked what relaxer I normally used and I told her I preferred design essentials and she used a different brand which was too strong for my hair then she left to go in the back to talk on the phone while the relaxer was in my hair. (Unprofessional) I actually had to notify the other stylist the relaxer was burning. At this point it's 11:30am and I specifically stated I had to leave by 1pm. By the time I got from the dryer it was around 12:30pm and at this point I'm beyond pissed because I'm hearing this loud drilling noise by construction which was unpleasant..The end result was something I could have done myself. For Paula to be a celebrity hairstylist her work was very mediocre. I definitely will not be back, wasted $85 on a hairstyle I had to redo myself. read more
