I remember stopping off here a number of years back when I was returning for a job interview in the Riverland. This place stood out, not just because of the great views of the river, but because I ended up watching my football team win as well. Sure enough, another patron was present who was also pretty ecstatic about the whole thing. Anyway, I won't say it is a particularly great pub, but it certainly is a nice place to stop off at for a beer, especially with the magnificent views of the river. This pub has a great location by the river with beautiful views if you sit out on the shaded deck. It's an old National Trust building with lots of history. Plenty of parking and friendly service. The food portions are large and fresh - it's a great place to sit with friends and while the afternoon away after a good hearty pub lunch. Recommended read more
