Due to unique circumstances beyond our control, we found ourselves looking for a wedding photographer a mere two weeks before our big day. And specifically a photographer who would take a more journalist approach to documenting our wedding, capturing as many candid moments as possible at what we knew would be a very emotional day for everyone involved.
Thankfully, someone in Ottawa put us in touch with Blair Gable, and after explaining our situation he agreed to shoot our wedding. Looking back, even if we had searched high and low for a photographer for a year, I don't believe we would have found a better person for the job than Blair.
Despite having barely two weeks to prepare, he still took the time to location scout our venue and find the best angles and spots to capture the midday light. And during our actual wedding, I could have sworn that Blair was invisible, but he was still able to capture amazing shots of the day's most important moments.
Looking through all of our photos when they were delivered let us relive all of the moments that we, as the bride and groom, had missed. And as our first anniversary approaches, we have the most amazing collection of memories to pour through all over again.
