Stopped in Friday afternoon for a battery. Upon entering I asked the cashier where I was headed? She gave me a descriptive response and how far. When I got to the area I kind of "hellooo" Tim came to me and pulled up which two batteries I could choose. He then lead me to the service area where Jade rang me up and told me how to proceed w the paperwork when I brought in the core. After getting home & texting w a friend who highly recommended they should do the battery replacement. I called and asked Cody if I could set up an appointment for in the morning? Cody said I didn't need one but he would make a work order and they try to get them done within the hour. Saturday morning we arrived on the tow truck shortly after 8:00a open. Store Manager Nick got me set up and about 20 minutes later I saw them driving my truck to the bay. SHOCKED... ONLY 40 minutes later i was already being told iwas all set!! What...how? You literally had to even take the wheel off to get to the battery! Then put it back on!! I was paid, done and on my way...in under an hour!! I don't know if I was more shocked at the reasonable price or the efficient time it took?! I was holding my breath for an expensive all day adventure. THANK YOU Blain's!! From first step in the store to the step out of the service department, my experience was.... aces. Looking forward to doing other shopping at Blain's, thanks! read more

See all

Blain's has some pretty remarkable deals if you catch them at the right time. Also, they deal in high quality stuff most the time. As many other super stores have died off (Shopko, Kmart, Sears, etc.) Blains holds tough, great automotive department, solid tools section, tons of American made products, good hunting/ fishing selection, clothing section full of Carhart/ Levi's and most stuff you would need for a farm. Buy all my gardening stuff there as well, (peat moss, perlite, top soil) including lawnmowers. The employees are always super friendly. Keep in mind this is a Upper Midwestern store, expect those sorts of values associated with it. I've seen other people complain about sometimes the lines are a little longer, expect that in any traditional hardware or feed store, you usually chat it up a little bit while conducting business, there's no self checkout. Just enjoy it, don't be in such a rush, and catch up with the cashier on the Packers Game last Sunday. During COVID I recommend the "pick up" option near the automotive department if you are in a hurry. read more

Wish it was possible to give 0 stars. Horrible auto service! They broke a part and denied it. They know they broke it and would not admit it. DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE THERE TO GET WORK DONE! read more

Good folks, lots of choices, wonderful store!

I feel bad that I bothered to ask an employee a question, where to find an item I wanted to purchase. The employee was obviously irritated that I had bothered him, he was alone in the paint department with no other customers around. His first sentence to me was, Ma'am I am mixing paint. While moving a paint can from the back counter to the front. Well, I should have known better than to bother such a busy and skilled employee with a silly question. Next time, if there is a next time, I will get on my knees and beg to be allowed to ask a question. read more

Always get auto work done at the Verona Farm and Fleet. Was out of town and had to go to the Lacrosse location. Been here 3 hours so far and only been told it's a nail in the tire. SERIOUSLY?!? Just fix it!!! read more

SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOWWWW. Sorry about that, but almost an hour after a single snowblower tire was to be fixed, I am still waiting and was told it will be 45 min more. Maybe it is a bad day or poor estimation, but this is highly disrespectful of the customer. Then again it seems as if the employees could not give a damn either way. read more

Service department here has not been a good experience for me, twice I have been here and twice they screwed up. First time bought tires and wanted them installed letting out, when I picked up my car tires were installed letting in, not a huge deal breaker I lived with it. My second visit was too have a left side front wheel bearing replaced they decided to replace the right side because that's where the mechanic thought he heard the noise from even though the work order said left front which was replaced two weeks earlier. They did fix the left front wheel bearing at there cost and through in an alignment for the inconvenience but when I showed up to have them complete the job they decided I didn't deserve the alignment. That's my last visit to Blaine's Farm & Fleet service department. read more

The service center and the manager displayed excellent customer service skills and went out of there way to assist 5 stars excellent job thanks read more

This is actually Blaines Farm and Fleet, nobody calls it Farm and Fleet and it is not your typical store. It has everything a farm and fleet store has but then there is more. A candy aisle. Inexpensive salted and unsalted nuts of all kinds. A huge toy section at Christmas. Honest mechanics with fair oil change prices. read more

I am unable to imagine a store with slower checkouts in existence. Plan at least 15 minutes in line waiting for the inevitable problem the one person in front of you will cause and the checker will have no idea how to fix. read more

I went there about 3 weeks ago for a wheel alignment. . I got my estimate, $1400 for a $85.00 wheel alignment. . This is like going to MIDAS for a similar treatment and a similar price.. this included installing a new light fixture over my license plate.. none of which has anything to do with a wheel alignment. this is a 2001 vehicle. and the vehicle could be purchased for about the same price range.. Oh and wheel alignment. . well it wasn't straight leaving the parking lot and its still not straight now.. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.. read more

I've given this place a fair shot over the years, and they consistently fail to provide even basic customer service. Inattentive floor help, with only one exception being a lady working at the auto service counter who was outstanding. Management is pathetic. I mean really poor, from the retail floor, to the store manager, they are inept. I really hate this store, and will not make purchases there again. Mills Fleet Farm in WInona is far and away the better bet. A star for the automotive service counter employee. read more

If you can live off the candy isle this place has pretty much everything you need. It's probably the biggest and most complete farm/home/auto supply store I have ever been in. read more

They just changed my 2 front tires, had an alignment, an oil change with synthetic oil, replace wiper blades and air filter. It was under $406. It was cheap and the service was quick. One thing I noticed is that they charged me $9.99 per tire for Road Hazard protection which I did not request. Even so, I would go here again. read more

This was the worst experience and not the right way to start off a Monday morning. To give some background, my boyfriend is a mechanic and I've changed my own oil a few times. It is not a hard process but apparently it is for the shop guys at farm and fleet. I scheduled my appointment for 8 am so I could be in and out because I have a class at 10 am at UWL. They quoted me at a half hour to 45 minutes (which is still too long). For some reason this was an impossible task. It took over an hour and a half for these guys to change it and check my front tire for any holes. Then I was lectured about how I should stick around and get my tires rotated and that I put too much pressure in the tires. First of all, on the tire, it says 40psi. The guy was trying to tell me it was only supposed to be 30. So he emptied them and I had to then fill them back up because he was so wrong. You could clearly see all of the tires were then flat. Also, the truck was my grandfathers. He passed away in October and I got the truck in November. The first thing I did was rotate the tires, because I know he probably did not. So to have this guy stand there and give me attitude about rotating my tires infuriated me. Farm and fleet, I would suggest you hire polite and actual knowledgeable people because you have lost a costumer. And I hope people read this and go elsewhere because the service was that bad. read more

I purchased a towable brush mower from your store last week. I immediately experienced problems with the mower so I called the manufacturer. They instructed me to take it to a repair shop and I choose your store since that's where I purchased the machine even though it wasn't my closest option. I am very glad I made that decision. I spoke with Ed and Al in your service department and they were very courteous and helpful. The repair was completed in a very timely manner and the machine is actually in better condition than when I purchased it. Al even gave me some helpful operating tips that aren't in the owner's manual. Your delivery man Frank was also very professional. I am extremely happy with the quality of service personnel at your store. read more
