My divorce proceedings are in another state and have gone on ridiculously too long. All I wanted to know was if it was possible to hire a different attorney in the state I now reside in. Simple inquiry, right?! I was told he was on vacation and he would do an over the phone consult the following week when he got back to let me know if this is at all feasible. I received no phone call, no e-mail, no response whatsoever. I guess if they see no dollar signs they aren't interested in helping someone with a simple inquiry. What this says (to me), they will be there if they have a financial gain to earn from you. Btw....I did make two other inquiries to two other law firms which I also had no response (I will also Yelp) before I contacted Herrling Clark Law Firm who was kind enough to at least send a simple e-mail back.

He told me "you're the one who married him" and said I was only going after the money my ex stole from me because I was "mad at my ex". I would not recommend James Quinn to an enemy. The law office also went through 3 receptionists in the nine and a half months I retained him. I have seen the way he talks to these women. She made a mistake on the employment authorization form that caused me to lose my job. The mistake was that she was supposed to choose the option for a new authorization instead of renewing an old authorization because it was being requested under a new status. As a lawyer, this is basic information that she should have known. I was easily able to find directions on the USCIS web site that clearly explains which option should be chosen. I reapplied for the authorization myself and received approval after only eleven days. I waited for her authorization to be approved for seven months before I applied on my own. I addressed this error with Nadeska and requested compensation for the financial loss I incurred due to being without a job for seven weeks, as of now, and paying twice for employment authorization. Also, the authorization she chose was more expensive than the option that was supposed to be chosen. She would not admit that she made a mistake, nor would she refund me any money.
