A True Dynamic Duo - Never worked with anyone better! We have been living out of town for over a decade now and wanted someone local to help us return closer to family and friends. Their online presence and reviews were impressive. We called them and within the same day started looking at properties with Rob. What I think Rob does best is that he read us well. Every search became closer to a dream home we didn't even know we wanted yet. His ability to read people also helped greatly when it came to negotiations. He far exceeded my expectations. After an offer was accepted, we met Janet and I was immediately impressed by her attention to detail, patience and comprehensive levels of support. There were weekly comms, thorough check ins, and proactive lists of service providers that we are using daily as we move in. So lucky that we found these two. Truly couldn't imagine the process going any better. We are lifelong fans and will share with people closest to us. read more

I cannot thank enough to Janet for her wonderful customer services and professional skill selling our home. Every little step, she would make sure to communicate to me and I understand clearly for what decision I am making. We got into a bit challenge situation due to the first time home buyer was transferring the money from overseas. I used to do this and knew it wasn't difficult. However, I guess each country handles money transfer differently, which caused us 1.5 weeks delay on the closing and we were almost loosing our purchase on the other house that was pending for the sell of our current home. Everyday was tense and thank God the buyers and their lender finally pulled it through with everyone's help and we were able to close the escrow within expected timeline. Without Janet's great communication, this would not happen. Thank you so much Janet and thank you Blackstone team for all your help and support!! Well deserved 5-STAR services!! read more

We highly recommend Janet and Rob for their real estate market knowledge and expertise as well as their professionalism. We had wonderful experience working with them in the process of selling our house in Ladera Ranch, California. They recommended what remodeling was really needed and what was not. They also hired a staging company to stage our house beautifully for free (we paid the staging company upfront but the staging expense was reimbursed back to us at closing). The house turned out like a model house and the marketing video was so impressive. All these really helped us to sell our house very quickly. And the house was sold above the asking price. Thanks Janet and Rob! read more

We have known Rob and Janet Campbell of The Blackstone Team for more than 6 years. My wife and I have contemplated selling our townhouse in Ladera Ranch for the last 5 years, and we reached out to Janet and Rob on multiple occasions. The timing was never right for us to list until this summer (2019), so there were several false starts where Janet and Rob spent significant time and energy to provide us market updates, home staging advice and answer our many questions. They always made themselves available and showed endless patience until we were finally ready to list. Once we were ready, The Blackstone Team engaged and guided us expertly through a complicated and short, 30-day escrow on both the sale of our home and purchase of another home. There are always hurdles and obstacles in selling and buying homes, but Janet and Rob helped us navigate through each of the problems. Their advice and guidance was honest and reality-based, and they never over-promised and always over-performed. We are forever thankful that Janet and Rob remained patient and helpful until we could commit to this major decision. I write this review sitting in a new home that we might not have been able to purchase without the hard work and expertise of Janet, Rob and The Blackstone Team. read more

We were very impressed with the service Blackstone team provided during our selling process. Their attention to detail and guidance with regards to making our house most appealing to the buyers was unmatched. While we had a similar floor plan & sq. ft. to a few other houses on our street, the Blackstone team was able to sell our house for the most value. I would highly recommend using their services. read more

Janet and Rob Campbell are highly respected and trusted in our community, and extremely knowledgeable about all Ladera Ranch has to offer. We have been fortunate to call this kindhearted and generous couple our friends since shortly after we moved to Ladera Ranch. When an opportunity came up for us across the country, we knew without a doubt who to trust to sell our home. Janet and Rob put the finishing touches on our home to make it picture perfect with beautiful, classic staging. They were excellent at keeping us informed and fully updated throughout the sale process, including all aspects relating to the home, and the market. The market got tricky this summer, but they put us at ease by stepping up their efforts while reassuring us all would work out. While we were out of town, they handled anything needed in the home. Being highly experienced in the entire relocation process made it smooth and hassle free for us. They are also very skilled at both working with potential buyers and assessing the actual viability of an offer, which ensured we accepted a strong offer, resulting in a sale. Thanks, Janet and Rob, and the entire Blackstone Team, for being there for us with your sound advice, expertise and warmth throughout this whole process! read more

Rob and Janet recently helped us BUY and SELL! They were amazing from start to finish. On the buying end, they weren't afraid to get their hands dirty and help us prepare our home for showing. On the selling side, we loved that Janet was honest and didn't try to push us into any decision. They were communicative, honest, and fun to work with! read more

Janet and Rob make every step of buying and selling a home seamless. We first met Janet and Rob when we purchased a home in Ladera Ranch where they were representing the sellers. They were extremely professional and clearly superior in industry knowledge coupled with their unparalleled real-estate business acumen was impressive to say the least. When the time came to relocate out of state for work last year, we had little room for time delays. Between coordinating a home purchase out of state, kids starting school, timing of jobs, etc. we had a lot to get done. Janet and Rob made the entire process from preparing the home for listing, helping find a moving company, keeping things light hearted around the kids, ensuring a bathroom remodel and other decent sized projects were done in time for listing. We had a much lower listing price in mind than Janet and Rob proposed. Not only did we get the listing price but we had multiple, solid offers within the first 2 weeks and were under escrow before we knew it. Over the last couple of years when we needed assistance with a rental property we own in Ladera there was no other team to consider. They were gracious enough to help with coordinating capital improvements on the rental property in addition to screening renters, further protecting and adding value to the property. We decided to sell the rental a month ago and are closing escrow in 3 days. This team knows the market inside and out, offers came in the first day of listing, over asking. Their savvy marketing tools and internet/social media initiatives are one of the many differentiators that set this team apart from the crowd. The only reason we are even considering purchasing another rental in CA while living in a different state is because of the total faith and trust that we have in The Blackstone Team. They truly care about their clients and remove the stress associated with any real estate transaction. Ted and Jamie read more

I recently moved to Ladera Ranch after 28 years in Pasadena. I was so fortunate to meet Janet and Rob who immediately impressed me with their professionalism and depth of knowledge of South Orange County real estate. I cannot say enough about my entire positive experience with them both and what an integral part they played in this huge move going so smoothly. They listened to my needs and wants in terms of location and house I was looking for and showed me appropriate properties. They provided in depth information about the area including comparisons, amenities, services, recommendation of trades people, etc. They were also highly skilled in every part of negotiating the buying of my house from start to finish. In addition, they are both warm and friendly people who are a joy to work with. I would highly recommend them for all of your real estate needs! read more

We just sold our townhouse in Ladera Ranch, CA yesterday and I can't say enough about this group. I spoke with Rob first on the phone and was very impressed with him and then I met Janet and just knew that this team was the one to help us. If we weren't moving out of state I'd be using them to help us buy a new place. They both have a lot of knowledge of the area and I just felt so at ease with them and their team. For anyone looking for a great realtor team don't hesitate to call them!! read more

We worked with Janet and her team to purchase an investment property in Ladera. She was absolutely amazing... professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We told her what we were looking for and she found us the perfect condo that fit everything that we wanted. She was quick to respond to emails and texts and always made us feel like we could ask her anything. (which is great because buying a home can be a confusing process at times!) Janet even got us the best price, saving us $25,000 off the asking price. I would not hesitate a second to recommend Janet and her team to anyone who is looking for an agent. We felt we got five star service from beginning to end and we already have plans to work with her again on purchasing our next home! read more

I have worked with Rob and Janet professionally for almost a year now on various projects and I can't think of 2 better people! These are genuine people who care for everyone they come in contact with. I have watched them constantly work and strive to be better for their clients and even for those who are not their clients. They are kind, courteous, professional and generous people. If I see this being "behind the scenes", I can only imagine how great they are with their clients. I for one, am truly glad Rob & Janet Campbell are people I know I can count on in my life! read more

Our house in Ladera Ranch sold in 10 days with multiple offers at above asking. They know the market so well and did a great job getting the home ready to show and running the open houses, but the thing I appreciated the most was the fantastic communication throughout the process. I never had to follow up on anything, they were always one step ahead. They texted and emailed constantly on the littlest details to the big ones. read more

Rob and Janet are not only experts in their field, but they are also both exceptional people who exhibit only the highest standards when helping you sell your home. Our family was presented with an out of state work opportunity and needed to get our home in Ladera Ranch listed quickly. This is a daunting task with 3 kids 4 and under! Rob and Janet worked swiftly, professionally, and thoroughly. They got our house prepped and show ready in no time and it sold in 20 days!! We had multiple offers and closed at full asking price + all of the contingencies we requested! Working with people you trust is imperative when it comes to buying or selling your home and we could not have been happier to have worked with Rob, Janet and the entire Blackstone Team. They truly went above and beyond every step of the way and we are extremely grateful! read more

First class service, knowledgeable, and professional. When we decided it was time to list our first home and search for our next forever home we had so many questions. How does buying a home work when the purchase is contingent upon selling a home? Do we first find the home we want to buy then list our house or vice-versa? Lucky for us, we meet Rob and Janet and they walked us through every step of this process. Not only did they sell our home at full ask within 3 days at our terms but they also helped us buy our next home with no disruption. Rob and Janet have a way to make you feel like you are their only clients. Maybe it was their daily updates that we received, their willingness to meet with us late at night after the kids were asleep, or make arrangements to take us to our new home so we could get multiple viewing of the house. We would highly recommend Rob and Janet to anyone buying or selling a home. read more

Rob & Janet are a hardworking team who sold our home in Rancho Mission Viejo. We met Rob and Janet a few years ago when we purchased a home and they were representing the sellers. We were so impressed with their professionalism, marketing tools, knowledge and patience throughout the entire process of meeting them at the open house to turning over the keys. When we started our recent home search there was no question about who we were going to reach out to for help. We paused our search and redirected our energy to our rental property where the tenants had stopped paying rent and dragged on the eviction process. Not only did Rob and Janet help us through the eviction process but they turned their focus from preparing to list our home to getting our rental fixed from the damage the prior tenants had inflicted on the home. They treated our rental property with as much attention and professionalism as they did to listing our main residence. Subsequent to them coordinating the repairs to the home to get the property in acceptable condition to show to potential renters they had narrowed down and presented several wonderful tenants. Within a few weeks they had transformed our rental and finalized a two year lease with a delightful family. After meeting Rob and Janet years ago on the other side of the table to now having the privilege of them representing us in a small rental transaction and moving back to our home search we will never seek help from any other real estate professional. There is no comparison to this team, They are simply head and shoulders above any other shop out there. read more

It's interesting that my husband and I chose Blackstone Estates due to the reviews on Yelp, and here we are writing our own! Rob, Janet, and the rest of their team made buying our home in Ladera Ranch as pleasurable and as seamless as a buying a home can be. Their professionalism was apparent from Day 1. Rob was always available to answer questions, offer advice when asked, and provide many options to our long list of needs. Their attentiveness did not wane from the time we initially contacted them, to our long search for our "perfect home", to the at-times-difficult-escrow-process (NONE of which was their fault), to closing the deal. Janet's background in finance/lending was very beneficial when reviewing our closing escrow statement- we knew that everything was accurate! We feel so lucky to have been able to work with them and would refer them without hesitation to all our family and friends. We are looking forward to our new adventure in a new community thanks to Blackstone Estates! read more
