After going to Dr. Blackburn to try and get computer glasses that would basically work as everyday…read moreglasses as well (needed bi/tri focals), after 3 tries, they couldn't get the prescription to work. When looking at the ground and seeing nothing but blurriness, I was told that I would learn to 'ignore' that. When looking at a distance and not seeing things clearly, I was told that my eyes would 'get used' to that. When I asked about driving, I was also told that if I was driving somewhere new where I had to read signs, I should probably where another pair, but if I was driving in my hometown where it was familiar, I'd probably be ok to where them. Really! My eye doctor is encouraging me to drive with blurry vision! After they tried 3 times to get me the right prescription and it still wasn't right, I was told that they wouldn't be able to make me another pair and I was basically out of luck and if I wanted to try again, I'd have to pay for another pair. I want to support our local businesses and shop locally but when you can't get the service you need and the product that's best for your vision and overall safety, it's pretty sad. I now will have to pay to go somewhere else and start all over and pay for everything again! The money I've already spent on an eye exam, frames, lenses was a total waste.
