I can ONLY TRY to put my experience into words...so here it goes! I will never, ever forget this experience in my life and I can honestly say, it was the best decision I ever made, I was extremely nervous going into this, not even knowing what to wear or what to expect. Dina, however, changed all that instantly. She is professional, yet so much fun and she will make you feel like a model. She just kept boosting my confidence the entire time and she knows what she is doing. At the moments when I would lose all self esteem, she would end up making me laugh and easing my fears. The time flew by and yet, I wanted to take more pics! Her studio was just the right size and she has it decorated to pretty that nothing will make you feel uncomfortable about your experience! Embarrased about doing this? DON'T BE because I guarantee you that you will walk out of it with your head up and feeling so beautiful, even if you don't think you are. The finished pictures? BEAUTIFUL! I don't have much confidence in my appearance but I can still look at these pictures and say that I'm so pretty and worth it. If you feel you have a flaw somewhere (mine is a bit of acne and a bit of cellulite) it won't show up at all which was even more better. My boyfriend's reaction? Mouth dropping, eyes bursting satisfaction! Its been 2 months now since I took that journey and he has my pics upon his shelf and still compliments me when he sees them. I would recommend Dina and her services to anyone of any age. I'm in my 40's and I just thought it was going to be a disaster but I walked away so happy and so much better off. It will change your life, I'm sure of it. For just a brief moment in time, I felt like a model. I have always thought of myself as the ugly duckling, but when I was finished, I finally felt as if I was good enough to be on the cover of a magazine. This was my first time having boudoir shots taken. They are going to be my wedding present to my fiance. I was really excited, but really nervous going in. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience - Dina was friendly, professional and she made me feel really relaxed. We had a lot of fun and lots of laughs. I forgot to be nervous after just a few shots. Dina was really good at finding flattering poses and helping me figure out what to do with my face (so don't worry if you're not America's Next Top Model - Dina will make you look like you are). I brought 3 outfits with me and that worked really well (2 outfits were lingerie sets and the third was one of my fiance's shirts and my lacy underwear). My advice for anyone thinking about this would be: 1) Do it! It is a great experience 2) If you have ideas about poses/outfits/props/etc. talk to Dina, she is great at incorporating your special requests into the shots. If you don't have ideas, Dina has you covered. 3)Comfort is key! Choose a venue that you are comfortable in and clothing that makes you feel good. 4) Be confident - We all have insecurities about our bodies, but if you put your most confident face forward, Dina will get the shots that accentuate what you like about yourself. After the shoot, Dina set up a meeting with me to go over my proofs and pick the final images. I am from out of town, so she did everything online and over the phone. It was easy. When I got my 8" x 8" book, I was beyond thrilled with the results! The book itself is high quality and the photos are amazing. Just the right amount of editing - I like that the pictures look professionally done, but I still look exactly like myself (no excessive photoshop). I definitely recommend Dina and Black Label Boudoir if you're looking for a special, unique gift for your significant other! I'd been wanting to do something like this for my husband for a long time, but wasn't sure how to go about it. I came across a groupon from BLB and decided to go for it! I was nervous at first, but Dina immediately puts you at ease. She gives great direction and feedback, and makes you feel like you're just hanging out with a fun girl friend. The studio provided the perfect backdrop for beautiful pictures. I bought a few outfits, but she also helped me put together another look to add some variety. My pictures were ready to view online about a week later. I knew I wanted to do a photobook and had to pick 25 pictures - it was really difficult because there were so many good ones. I received my photo book about 2 weeks later and it turned out beautiful. Now, I'm anxiously waiting for my husband's birthday in a few weeks. I'm thinking he's going to be blown away!!! I purchased the package from Groupon. My experiance with Dina was amazing, she really put me at ease. We spoke via email on several occassions via email to discuss styles of photos that i had in mind and we exchanged ideas it was great to know what to expect and what was expected of me. I chose to have my photo's at home and Dina made great use of the space and natural light that was available. Even though i was nervous Dina made me laugh and in the end she felt like a friend. She never rushed me i felt relaxed and i really trusted her opinion. The photos turned out better than my expectations i was so happy. I would recomment this to any lady, its a great present yes, but better than that its good just for you and your confidance. I wanted to surprise my husband with an anniversary gift he'd never forget and when I saw the Groupon for boudoir photography, I knew I found the perfect gift. Working with Dina was effortless. She was professional, but kind, courteous and made me feel at ease...all the things you need to feel comfortable as you're lying half naked across your bed as she snaps photos (yes, she can come to your house...a total plus!)! And I never felt sexier. I loved that I was able to incorporate my own style and wear things that I knew my husband loved. Dina offered great suggestions on how to pose, how to smile and how to look sexy, not sleazy. I was so proud of the final pictures, I was showing all my girlfriends and telling everyone about what I did! Black Label Boudoir is absolutely amazing. I had so much fun with a girlfriend at the shoot, and Dina makes you so relaxed in front of the camera. Before I knew it I was laughing and was having a blast! We opted to have the make up artist there for us and I highly recommend it. She made my face look flawless and knew exactly how to emphasize my eyes for the camera. I can hardly wait to book another session with Dina. Her vision and creativity behind the camera is spectacular. I have an idea for a portrait for a tastefully "sexy" picture of my boyfriend and I on the Harley. "This was probably something I never would have done in my 20s or 30s, but I've found that I'm more comfortable in my own skin in my 40s and more willing to step outside my comfort zone than my younger days. Still, there was a measure of surprise and relief when I met Dina, who's all about keeping it fun and comfortable! From start to finish, this experience couldn't have been better. Knowing it was a surprise for my husband, she was careful to communicate only through email or my cell phone. I usually don't write reviews but, this experience was too good to share. I purchased the deal off of Groupon and contacted Dina. She was very accomidating to my semi rushed date since I wanted to give the photos to my soon to be husband for our wedding. We agreed upon a session in the city at a fancy hotel. She met me there with all her equpment and some fun music to help lighten the mood. She took my ideas for posing and includes some great ideas of her own. She made me feel like a beautiful model. We had alot of fun together. She had the photos edited beautifuly and to me in plenty of time for my wedding. My husband loves the photos they are a priceless memory. I have had boudoir photos taken before, but my experience with Dina was unlike any other! It was sort of a "party night," as there were five women getting their photos taken. Dina brought a make-up artist and the shoot couldn't have been more professional or fun. I was so thrilled with the final photos, as was my boyfriend. :-) Dina is sassy, energetic, fun to work with and 100 percent professional.
