This place is pretty cool. We took a tour of the facility for a Racial and Ethnic Diversity class I took at Purdue. The staff was very knowledgeable and open to questions we had regarding black history and over the artifacts that they have. They even gave us an ethnic music lesson using drums akin to what is found in Africa. If you are a student, alum, or passerby I would encourage you to at least stop and see what they have to showcase here. It's interesting and not found all over. read more

If…read moreyou are above the average age of a college student you will plan on be mistreated and if you are a man of odler age you will be mistreated to the point of just plain giving up on getting a degree at this community college. I was going for my degree in I.T. but gave up when I took a class with Adrew Gibbs. The class wasn't going to bad except for the sim labs not working half the time and having to listen to him ramble on for 2 1/2 hours about IT in, which he isn't trained. The topper was the midterm exam. We had 3 men in the class that were all over the age of thirty and he gave us 3 a different test than the rest of the class. He made sure all 3 of us failed all three midterms exams. The kids in the class all had an easier test and they as I was told were succesful on all three tests.

We visited the Neil Armstrong statue in front of the physics building. Then we walked around the campus eventually ending up in the student union. The beautiful campus was alive with students walking to class and cherry blossom plants blooming in the spring. In the student union we saw the Edgar Degas statue collection, several art galleries, and the magnificent architecture. If you're looking for a nice place to spend a spring afternoon, Purdue University is a great place to do it.

If I could give it a 0, I would! Commercials are false advertisement! When you go in to see the…read morecampus and see if you want to go....remember, they are trying to sell you on it. You will pay them to go there. It's all false advertising!! The instructors are a joke. They don't know the correct answers to half of the things they're teaching you. The administration and staff are nice but they just give you the run around on any issue you bring to them. No help at all. Corporate....do they even care about the students or just the students money? Look, I could go on and on but I'm just trying to prevent anyone from making the mistake of attempting to go there such as my friends have...weather it be to work for them or go to school there. Just don't do it.

Not only their academic preparation, but their social/emotional learning was helped so much by their great teachers. And we found a great community here for our whole family. My children loved coming to school every day, and didn't want to leave. They went on to do well in the WL system to which they transitioned when they "aged out" of MSGL.

United started flying here just about a year ago from Chicago…read more It's a walking distance from the campus. Uber is always less than $10 of your kiddo has a lot of luggage. Security is a breeze, your checked luggage comes out so fast as there are no other flights. One hour before departure time is plenty early for your departure. They have an Enterprise rental car. They close before the 2nd flight arrives. Should you need a car, need to use a flight which arrived in mid day. If they could stay open for the late evening flight, this airport would be more useful for those who need a car. Flight may not be on time. Be sure to have plenty of layover times.
