2009 von Traudel Schewe als Geschenke-Laden gegründet änderte sich der Fokus des Ladens mit Übernahme durch Stefan Niethammer 2017 hin zu mehr regionalen, fairen und nachhaltigen Geschenkartikeln.

Meet the Business Owner: Stefan N.

Stefan ist seit mehr als 12 Jahren im Bereich Fairtrade-Bio-Textilien mit seiner Marke 3FREUNDE unterwegs. Da er einen holistischen Ansatz bei der Betrachtung von Lieferketten hatte war es nur eine Frage der Zeit bis er den mit dem Blässhuhn eine direkte Kontaktmöglichkeit mit Endkunden fand. Er liebt es den Kunden zu helfen und ihnen gleichzeitig aufzuzeigen welche Artikel aus seiner Sicht gut sind und gekauft werden sollten. Neben 3FREUNDE und dem Blässhuhn hat er einen Lehrauftrag an der Universität Konstanz und ist beratend tätig.

Merchandise is well displayed and the shop appears to have a buyer with good taste as their is a small sampling of everything a baby needs but the offered items are well culled. The store is packed pretty tight so it is difficult to navigate with a stroller. they always have a rack and bin outside in front of the store with sale items. Ground floor has mostly fashion things, mostly cloths. Nice brands, rather high end. On the lower level you'll find gadgety things and strollers and gear for rainy days but also the sunny ones that make you go for a swim. There you find almost everything for your babies needs and whatever you wanna pamper it with. Big selection of pacifier and my most favourite find: ear protection for your baby if you wanna go to a rather loud place without harming your loved one. There works an angel with blond hair. She is super nice and I usually try to get her help. The other staff was oookkk, but the blond one with the angel face truly is an angel.
