He does provide a little button if you need assistance or have any issues, but it is nice to remain relaxed the entire time. The improvement keeps me coming back and I am glad I gave it a try!

The first two had no effect on my pain and I was reluctant to try the third. Let me tell you that this one is the best. Dr Li knows what she is doing and I would always leave with my pain not gone, but subsided to the point that I could stand up and walk until the nerves and arthritis in my back would make the pain resume maybe 6-10 days later. It took a long time to get approved for the surgery I needed to clean the spinal canals and fuse two discs together. But without Dr Li the pain would have been unbearable. I also had several spinal injections per my insurance carrier prior to approving the surgery that never helped. So if you have pain or have not been helped by other acupuncturists, I highly recommend going here!!!!

RECOMMENDATION FOR DR. LIU AND MILWAUKEE ACCUPUNCTURE AND HEALTH CLINIC…read more For most people, pain is often present! The damaged area of people's lives need special healing, going beyond ordinary medical practices, pills, prayer and willpower. Acupuncture by Dr. Liu is that choice that goes beyond, and helps the body physically. This impacts the other areas on one's life; emotional and spiritual. Since receiving acupuncture, my pain has diminished greatly. Sometimes there is no pain at all. I can not describe the joy it is to be able to bend over and pick up things from the floor, to get up in the morning without screaming and tears flowing from my eyes: there are no words. If you are a veteran, request a referral from your primary physician. I highly recommend Dr. Liu's clinic. The staff are professional and courteous. The place is immaculate and the environment is decorated to enhance healing as well. As soon as one walks in, healing is taking place. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Pam Lindeke

In hindsight, I should have known that the laser treatment was not going to help with my specific problem. And I am so disappointed that both Dr. Evans and Dr. Max thought that it would. There were some aspects of my treatment that I thought were very good, including Dr. Evans' sincere attempt to help reduce my pain, but overall the 3-month treatment didn't help a bit. So, I was out over $5,000 and gave them all of that time at the office, plus treatment I did on my own at home over that 3-month period. I'm not going to say I was "scammed", but that's sure how I feel. There are many pain problems she can help with; other patients there told me as much when I was there.
