My husband and I just ate a fabulous dinner here. Food was fresh and exceptionally prepared (creative but not overdone; perfectly seasoned). He had Char; I had the vegetarian dish with the best portobello mushrooms I've ever tasted. The salad starter was perfect (and a rare find so far on our holiday in Sweden). I wish I had found the place earlier because I would have stayed here too (far superior to the craziness at Hoga Kusten Hotel with its mass produced food). It may be a matter of local opinion but for me The High Coast of Sweden starts when you, arriving…read morefrom the south, cross the big river on The High Coast Bridge. Well over you make a stop at Hotell Höga Kusten. Maybe stay over for a night having an excellent dinner while the sun sets. So did I and can be recommended. This makes you well prepared for a deeper visit into this fantastic nature when the sun rises.
