I know I have been skeptical toward second hand shops lately, but this place is a treasure trove!!…read more The first floor is reserved for big stuff as furnitures on the front and more delicate items on the back. You are dreaming of owning one of those old fashioned vases that used to adorn your grandmother's living room? You'd probably find it here. Also looking for Christmas album CD anno 1995 featuring WHAM and the likes? You'd also probably find it here. The big hit for me is on the second floor. Up the stairs and to the left they have very comfy designed library-lookalike with rows and rows books for sale with price tags showing fractions of what the original prices were. Books sold here are extremely in good condition, unlike in several "Antikvariet" I have been to, but there are obviously newer books too. To put it shortly, if you're about to give someone a book as a present from here, they wouldn't know if it's second hand and it's good for the whole saving environment stuff isn't it? Less trees to fell for your books. Next to the book room, there's the children articles occupying the space. Clothing, toys, you name it. On the right side of the upper room there is the second hand clothing area. They all look in very good condition, I guess The Red Cross is very good at vetting these clothing. I did a browse to see if there's anything I like. Alas, I'm quite picky when it comes to clothing. But hey, it's worth checking out, and when you need to give (Christmas) presents, this place is maybe worth to look at.

I almost dont want to tell people about this place because I love it so much. In one week in…read moreCopenhagen I visited four times. FOUR TIMES! So, listen, OSV is one of those places that has constantly rotation selection of items, so it is different every day. People come in and sell their stuff, and then you buy it. Some of the items are gently used, some are brand new with the tags still on. The majority are high-end local brands like Acne, Malene Birger, and Wood Wood. The place is pretty small, so they have a pretty limited selection, but it is all top quality. No digging! They have mostly clothing, but also some shoes, bags and accessories as well. Good news for men! They have a good mens section as well with Trigger, Han Kopenhagen, raw denim jeans, etc. This place is a gem. Dont miss it.

There are truly a lot of great bargains to be found here, and stumbling upon brands like Thom Browne, Junya Watanabe, ACNE and YSL at very fair prices would not come as a surprise. I can only give O-S-V my best recommendations, so make sure to find your way to the little shop whenever you need to satisfy your need for something new in your wardrobe!

There were also two cute ladies thanking us for bringing stuff in! Take a look inside and You might even find good retro furniture!
Depending on what you're looking for, B&W is either a great flea market or a subpar one. For…read moremidcentury teak furniture, B&W is the jackpot. There are just piles and piles of dressers, tables, chairs, and sofas. Most of the furniture is wood and most of it seems to be midcentury modern with a large range of quality and prices. If you are looking for a Luxo lamp, this is also a good place to come as they have a large selection. The stands or stalls here are not so defined, everything sort of merges into each other. Some stalls have mobile numbers posted so I guess you can call the owner if you want to buy something and they are not around. In terms of clothes, accessories, and jewelry, this is not a very good flea market at all. The interesting thing about this place is really the old ship yard space itself. The open trusses are beautiful. The best vantage point in the building is certainly the elevated platform which holds hundreds (if not thousands) of wooden chairs. From there, you get a bird's-eye view of the flea market around you. The coolest thing I found there was a vintage blue phone booth. But there was no way I could take that home =(

I have been a big fan of the brand for a long time and have visited this Archive store + purchased…read moreon several occasions. I also work with retail and Education with 15+ experience. My visit yesterday however was probably the worst client service given in my life - I can take that minimal service given since a few days before Christmas but the fact the store had two staff members of which one ignored my request of checking for a size, the second male staff talked very loudly with someone he knew in terms of going to interviews for other jobs and very clear his mind was not in the store. Anyway I asked to put two items on hold since I wanted to show my best friend the following morning - I was told it was only possible until end of day which I said was fine since I would arrive for the opening the following morning. When we arrived today at 11.01 the store was not opened and no staff in sight - we waited 15 minutes and then the staff arrived. I asked to try the pieces reserved; which she first couldnt find since he never took my name so she had to ring the guy putting them on hold and to find out he sold one of the pieces after I left. She had the weirdest reasoning for this and almost felt like this was a natural thing happening and that the dress I was planning to buy was no longer available. With this I also want to say we later visited the Acne Studio store in the city; and even if only one staff and several clients she gave excellent service and was super helpful to everyone in store.

They have a wide variety, such as clothes, housewares, records, and furniture. My particular favorites were many of the sets of glasses and cups. I'm not a flea market lover, but this one is good to see. It's a big part of Danish culture.

I spent some hours walking around Copenhagen, and of all the vintage shops I went to I liked Prag…read morethe best. Mainly because of their organized shop space, but of course also because of the prices. In appearances, It's quite similar to Episode in some way, except way cheaper and not that much of a "hip" atmosphere they reach for at Episode. When I walked into Prag, I felt like I walked into my grandmas gigantic closet - and that is exactly the feeling I want to have when I visit a vintage shop. I bought a pair of Levi's jeans for 180 dkk, but if I had the time I would easily have ended up buying much more stuff. They had all sorts of dresses, organized by decade and styles (like "Little black dresses" or dresses with waaaay to much glitter and glam), shirts and jackets, and even some seriously cool and crazy swim wear. I nearly bought a swimming suit that looked liked someone had puked flowers all over it, but sadly I didn't have the time to try it on. The girl who worked there was really nice and service minded, and she could answer all the questions I had without the slightest touch of arrogance. That I think, is a really good attitude to have when you work in a vintage shop. I often tend to meet people behaving in the other direction in these kind of shops. Prag felt homey that way. If I ever go to Copenhagen again - I will certainly be back! With lots of money and time on my hands...
