They do a beautiful job! And, they made sure someone was home to receive the flowers instead of just leaving them on the door step, so the flowers didn't wilt in the heat read more

I ordered flowers for a funeral. Gave them flower suggestions on what I wanted. Since it was in a basket I thought it would have been a lot larger for the price I paid over 100.00, it was pretty but sparse with flowers. Very disappointed. I know things are expensive in today's world but that was very small. read more

Bitterroot Flower Shop - Pretty but extremely small for the price. - Florists Near Me - Missoula, Montana

This place is amazing! My aunt and I went in this past week for flowers for my grandma's funeral. They greeted us immediately and helped guide us when we gave them more details about what we wanted. We didn't want to spend a ton of money so they leaded us to an area where they had recycled vases for a cheaper prices which I thought was so cool. At the end we ended up spending $50 on one bouquet but it was probably the most gorgeous bouquet ever. Please support this place and get your special occasion flowers here!!!!! read more

This flower shop has been a reliable source for delivering bouquets to my good friend in Missoula. The flowers are beautiful and appear fresh. Their online ordering system is easy to use. Something unique is how they handwrite the messages that you enter into the box. read more

When I called Bitterroot Flower Shop about ten minutes after they opened on the Tuesday after Mother's Day asking if they could complete the very delayed wishes of a long distance friend, to pick up two different and unique flower arrangements to deliver to his loved ones, I was worried they would not be able to help me... boy, was I wrong!!! Margie (I hope I spelled that correctly) helped me so kindly and efficiently. She simply asked my price range and what time I would need to pick them up. In less than an hour, I received two gorgeous and generous arrangements for my price range. The two women receiving the flowers were absolutely thrilled and so surprised to receive fresh and thriving flowers. Thank you SOOOO much Bitterroot Flower! read more

I received a bouquet Today while in the hospital. It was ordered over the phone from Phoenix. Very disappointed. The flowers looked like they were Squished in delivery. They look about as bad as I feel. Two flowers are actually open the rest look like they never will open. The one big flower looks 1/2 dead. Very disappointed. I have ordered from them many times and they were always good. This is the first time I received an order. I hope the ones I sent didn't look like these. read more

Although the staff is helpful the inventory is MOST underwhelming with EXHORBITANT prices plus ridiculously high delivery charges.

We ordered sunflowers and babys breath for my daughter rustic wedding. Everyone that I talked to at the shop was extremely helpful and friendly. The flowers for the wedding turned out beautiful and were ready exactly as promised. Im so happy we used this florist. read more

I live in Florida but visit relatives in Missoula every year. My husband has always brought me flowers every Wednesday since we met in 2016 so he has to get creative when he's in Florida and I'm in Montana. He randomly chose Bitterroot Florist the first year and has sent me flowers through them every year. We've always been very pleased with the arrangements they put together and carefully delivered to me in Turah. Naturally, when we want to send flowers to our loved ones here in the Missoula area, we call Bitterroot Florist and have been just as pleased! Highly recommended. read more

Just want to say how grateful I am to of found Bitterroot flower shop! I called from out of state and the woman I spoke with was beyond helpful, kind, patient with me as I had screaming toddlers in the background and couldn't gather my thoughts and she never rushed me on the phone ! I requested something "bright and cheery" and they created just that. Calling from another state can always be a little hard when trying to arrange a delivery, but she made it so smooth and I received a confirmation email immediately upon placing the order and when it was delivered. After I hung up I said to my husband " I wish everyone was as kind as the woman I just spoke with" . Skip 1800 flowers and call Bitterroot flower shop directly, you will be so happy you did ! thank you Bitterroot flower shop for your amazing customer service and beautiful flowers ! read more

Lynda at Bitterroot was just a godsend for me. I had been a slacker about planning my wedding flowers. I literally walked into her shop the day before the wedding. And she delivered everything I imagined - and then some! It's over a month later and I am still floored at how well she understood my aesthetic and fit it into my budget with literally. no. lead. time. THANK YOU LYNDA. I tearsure the day and your contribution to it was major. I am updating this review because this floral shop has bent over backwards to make my experience better. They must have had a problem with getting decent roses from their supplier because they kept dying before the end of the day. They sent me my bouquet 3 times and even an apology card. Thank you for making it better and thank you for listening to me. The flowers were gorgeous....and are thriving. read more

I found them online through Google Maps and, due to their great reviews, went to their website about midnight last night. I got married at a guest ranch about 45 minutes outside of Missoula in September 2012. We were on a budget and after checking other florists in the area, we were sold on Bitterroot. (Let me put it this way, when I gave a different florist my entire flower budget, she came back with a quote for just my bouquet that was 1.5x my entire flower budget. I found that to be incredibly obnoxious and was worried that I would not be able to find a florist who would understand my budget constraints.) Lynda at Bitterroot did not make me feel bad that I was on a budget at all. In fact, she made us feel like we were being responsible adults for not going overboard. She used local flowers which were in season to make several bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. She sat down with us for an in-person appointment when we went through color schemes, ribbons, flower types, etc. so everything would be perfect. And it absolutely was. We were able to put some more money towards the bouquets right before the wedding, so Lynda added even more beautiful flowers before we picked them up. When we showed up to get them, they were all ready to go in sturdy vases/boxes which were perfect for the 45 minute ride back to the ranch. The flowers held up without water for an extra 4-days after the wedding. Wedding planning is extremely stressful. Bitterroot made flowers the easiest part of the planning. Thank you so much. read more

I am not someone who writes bad reviews, but after the experience my wife and I had at our wedding, I would absolutely hate for anyone to go through the same ordeal. On our wedding day alone, they FORGOT to deliver the flowers to our venue until we called asking where they were, pushing our ceremony to start later in the day. On top of still being charged for the delivery, they weren't even the right flowers! The elegant white headpiece my wife ordered was replaced with a massive red rose bulb, along with other mistakes. The WORST part of it all was we had been trying to stay in constant communication with them for about a year! From the first day we were very up front about what we wanted. The times that they would respond to us in email or by phone (which wasn't that often), they would reply with emails containing flowers that had NOTHING to do with what we asked for (colors, flowers, etc). We are incredibly easy to work with, but working with these guys was an additional stress that I wouldn't wish on anyone preparing a wedding. read more

We live out of state and called this local floral shop due to my wife's sister having a baby. They did not have the 1st item we wanted, but the florist suggested another item which we found on the website. It was absolutely fantastic, probably better than the original item we chose! The florist was extremely helpful given our situation. A follow up note was handwritten and sent to us thanking us for our business. My wife's sister was elated at the bouquet and pictured it on her FB page. It was right for what we wanted, well within our price range, and delivered the day we needed! This is a great shop to do business with! Thank you Nancy! read more

I have no negative comments about this place. The people were great and friendly and the flowers were beautiful. I came in not knowing what I wanted and just stating what flowers I liked.
