The experience in trying to get the necessary info, and finally get my money back wasn't the best but it did got done so that's good. 2. eStatements never show up until 2 or more days after the first of the month. It's now Thursday, December 4 and I still don't have my November eStatements. I'd say this is my biggest pet peeve with Unitus. I also use First Tech Federal CU and I get my eStatements from them on the first, unless that's a Sunday.

I had to tell the bank teller... that I already had a savings account at a credit union... and I wasn't supposed to take so long inside the bank. I told the manager that I was asked the same questions and each time... I answered with a friendly "No,... thank you." It wasn't until I went to the other bank teller that I started getting better customer service. I was told that I wasn't welcome inside this Wells Fargo when a random stray dog (it was a German Shepherd) followed another customer into this branch in 2000. I told the bank teller that I didn't own a dog. The dog was thrown away downtown at the waterfront because it was no longer a puppy. I told the bank teller that I was going to move my account. I did eventually get an apology from a different bank teller at a different location of Wells Fargo Bank (the other location is also in Portland... but in Southeast Portland).

Frankly, we didn't notice because the account is dedicated to paying the loan, and we don't look at it all the time. Instead of contacting us immediately to let us know the payments didn't go through, they let us go on for 3 months then affected my credit report by 60 points. The customer service representatives refused to help me or reverse the report even though we always made payments previously and made the late payments as soon as we found out the originals did not go through. Which was only after looking at my credit report. They never notified us. They insist notices were sent in the mail, but we never received them. This is horrible customer service. Had we been alerted via a simple phone call, email, or message in the online banking portal, this would have been resolved immediately. Now my credit has significantly dropped, and the negative report will be on my credit for the next 7 years. Onpoint Community Credit Union needs to start contacting customers immediately when a loan payment is missed via phone call, email, and messages on the online banking portal. This used to be a great credit union; now it is worse than a big bank. We are paying the loan off early and closing our accounts with them as soon as possible. Put your money elsewhere.

Locked the doors prior to closing hours…read more 3 elderly men and myself gathered today outside of the NW 21st Ave B of A (Portland, OR) with checks in hand to deposit, but unable to enter because the staff had locked the doors at least 10 minutes , probably 15 minutes before closing, ignoring us outside. The men waiting weren't in the demographic that would make an ATM deposit much less use an app. They instead were futility calling B of A to complain and/ or get a manager's attention. Prior to this, I literally had a young (they all are) staff member pulled the door out of my hand as she yank it closed and locked it in my face tersely informing me that they were closed. I normally don't post complaints on Yelp. I'm very in favor of simply addressing the business owner or manager directly. Good luck on that getting through their robotron phone customer service or trying to find an email to talk to a real person. Just one more reason to go through the hassle of getting my business transferred elsewhere.
