A rock fell on my sunroof on the other side of the Sierras near Mariposa. I was headed for Bishop, so I called Bishop Glass. They offered to stay late and clean up the broken glass, put collision film on the roof so that the car would be safe to drive home, where I could get the sunroof repaired. They were incredibly kind angels. They did a. beautiful job on the cleanup. I could not recommend them enough. read more

This business is the same as Bishop Glass located on Line St. near the Post Office. I believe there is a Bishop Glass located at the corner of Main St. and Line St. but I've had no contact with this shop. I had a simple request for a rectangular piece of glass to cover a counter top. It measured 52"X14"X1/4" and I took in a pattern. My first visit was about August 1, 2020. I was told it would be done the end of the following week and they would call me when complete. Two weeks later I called and was told they'd be cutting a larger piece of glass the following week and my glass would be cut next. They would call me when done. Two weeks later I called again. This time I was told my pattern had been set aside and forgotten. It would be done late the following week. They would call when ready. Sept. 1,2020 I called back and was told they'd get right on it, maybe by the end of the week. I told them to cancel the order and I'd pick up the pattern. This shop appears to have changed owners or management and has gone to h-ll. I've used this shop for at least 30 years and never seen such poor service. Avoid these people. read more

They ordered and replaced windshield for my Subaru, the staff is friendly but they did rip and scratch fabric interior on arch while replacing the windshield. If you want quality work look elsewhere. read more

Had a big issue with a shattered windshield after a trip to Mammoth for my bachelor trip. Mammoths heavy snow season left a large chunk of ice to fall through my windshield. I could not get any help from tow trucks or anyone in Mammoth to repair the windshield due to the storm and the need for services around town. Bishop Auto Glass went above and beyond to take care of me and my truck as I am from southern california and had to leave my truck with them for over a week until they could get my new windshield in stock. They made sure my truck was cleaned of all broken glass, made sure my belongings were safe inside while I returned back down south to home, and ensured a perfect windshield replacement. I cannot thank them all enough for everything they did for me. They made sure that not only was I safe and able to get home, but also doing a perfect repair with amazing service. Being in a small town like Bishop, some businesses seem not to care about customer service because they're one of the only places in town that can provide a similar product. Conversely, getting my windshield replaced at Bishop Glass was the kind of experience that makes you appreciate living in a small town! Personalized and friendly service who remembered me and my situation every time I called; they were willing to work with my insurance to get everything taken care of so all I had to pay was my deductible at the end. He did work for us several months ago and I was not thrilled with the results but felt that I could live with it. Needed more work done and requested his service again. Was told he was very busy and it would be at least two weeks, three weeks later was told that I was still "on the list" but could not give me a firm date. Two months and three calls later I have found someone else to do the work. I have never been treated so unprofessional. read more
