In our effort to find more local eatery choices, since recently moving to the area, we decided to try this place, as we seem to go by it all the time. It was not a good experience, and a waste of time and money. It has no atmosphere, and was very noisy. A mumbling girl, who couldn't seem to actually look at us when she spoke, was impossible to understand, THINK asked what we would like to drink. I told her I would like an iced tea. She brought a tall glass, full to the very brim, with WARM tea and no ice. When the actual server came, she asked ME why I was brought a glass of warm tea! I told her to please just bring me a glass of ice, so I could offload some of the tea and actually get iced tea. She eventually brought a similar glass overflowing with ice. This still left me with the same problems, and since the server didn't have a solution, I commandeered the small cup holding sweeteners, poured them out, poured some of the warm tea into it, and was finally able to put some of the ice into the tea. Since this was clearly messy, and without any help from staff, I asked for some coasters. The server, who also spoke broken English and didn't seem to understand the order, just brought me another plate, no coaster. We then asked if she could just bring us more napkins. She brought one, and we tore it in half to use. I ordered a grilled cheese (which the menu described as "stuffed with cheddar", and my husband ordered a turkey club sandwich. The grilled cheese was not stuffed, by any definition, and was just a skinny kid's-looking grilled cheese. My husband's sandwich was so dry he couldn't swallow most of it, and so he left most of it there. We literally couldn't get out of there quickly enough. This is the first and only bad meal we have had in the Frisco-Plano area since moving here. I can't understand why anyone would knowingly go here, with so many actually good places all around. We will never even consider going here again. read more

I visited this restaurant earlier today and below is my experience. When we arrived the hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming, she showed us to our seat and even asked if this was an ok area. The server was amazing, she stayed on top of us and was there anytime we needed anything. ROCKSTAR! The food on the other hand, I ordered the "Hot" Chorizo Benedict and my friend ordered the Denver Omelet. The benedict was plated BEAUTIFULLY but was not "hot" at all. Nothing about it was spicy at all, I had to ask for hot sauce to give it a kick of flavor. I was expecting more from the dish. My friend who doesn't like hot/spicy food at all tasted it and he even said; "not spicy at all." His Denver omelet was good but I think the plating could have been better with maybe some garnish and/or fruit. Kind of looked like they just "slapped" it on the plate. Went to Biscuit after my friend recommended it and it was amazing! I ordered the garden skillet which had lots of yummy veggies. Everything was fresh and delicious. Of course I had to try the biscuits too. I'm glad I did because they were truly the best I've ever had. Food came out really quickly despite it being busy and our server was very attentive. The staff was all very friendly. Dining area was clean with beautiful decor. The patio is super cool. It's a unique spot and definitely different from your typical breakfast place. Yumm, this place is traditional down south cooking. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch concurrently, so you get to pick from either menu during their hours. The flavors are there, and the dishes are expertly cooked. Nothing was greasy or "diner" feeling. Everything was freshly prepared, and the portions are very large. I was split between a 3 and a 4 star review but decided to go with 4 because of the price. It was very busy when I went and the food took a long time. I understand when it's busy it takes longer but it took long taking that into consideration. The decor was really nice and modern and the bathroom was clean and cool. I ordered the mixed sweet and got a buttermilk pancake, frosted flakes french toast, and strawberry crepe. The pancake was pretty good (standard), the french toast was good, but the crepe was lackluster and I didn't end up eating much of it. The person I came with got a turkey and bacon panini and salad. I actually made this avocado toast look way better than it did when it was brought out to me. It's really amazing that you can charge $10 for something that is literally thrown together. However I did try to work with it and add some salt and pepper to the plain avocado that was thrown on the toast. The French toast was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. And the biscuits... Yessir. They're absolutely worth naming an entire restaurant after. Especially with the sausage gravy. We had passed by this place previously and decided to finally check it out and we were sooooo happy that we did. Nice interior space. Awesome patio area. Fun ambience. Great friendly service. First, our server explained the menu and made a couple of suggestions that we're happy we took his word for. We were starving, so when the food showed up we knew that we were not going to leave that place hungry lol The food was great, the server came a few times to check in on us and refill our coffee. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that we sat on the patio and we were sweating the entire time, just not comfortable at all. It was hot that day, but the patio was open and we saw others sitting outside. We didn't start feeling uncomfortable until after we had already ordered our food and we didn't feel right moving after our server had already started working on our table. The frisco skillet was filling and full of flavors. As for the wild berry crepes, it was good but I felt like it was lacking a bit of flavor. Waiter was friendly and attentive even though we came just before closing. We were seated quickly and service was fast! The only negative is we were seated in the outdoor patio which was enclosed with plastic sheets (the nice kind, not the janky kind) but we were directly in the sun and it got quite warm. I ordered a hamburger with bacon and swiss cheese. My wife ordered a grilled chicken and fruit. I got a regular burger with no cheese or bacon and my wife got a grilled cheese. I realized in stages that our order was incredibly wrong. First we asked to get my wife's chicken, then we pointed out that I got the wrong burger. The waitress acknowledged the mistake, brought the chicken and offered to order a new burger. I wasn't terribly worried about it so I told her I would keep what was delivered. When I got the bill, I found that my wife's grilled chicken and fruit cup cost more than my burger and fries. What's more, I was charged for the bacon and cheese I never got. I decided I would not raise an issue over the bill, but this was as much to do with the bland food as it was about the $2 or so I would have saved. The food was unremarkable, I've had better at 5 Guys and the inability to receive the food we ordered was disappointing. The bright spot was the waitress. She was attentive and acknowledged the mistake with no effort to excuse or share the responsibility. I have tried several breakfast resturants in the area. This was an incredible disappointment. WOW! This place is amazing. What a wonderful addition to Stonebriar Mall restaurant area. The ambiance is amazing and reminds me of clean, fresh, modern, healthy, warm, inviting, freshness and of course family. From the moment you walk in you're greeted with a warm and inviting smile from the hostess. The wait is minimum to be seated and the menu is clean and easy to read. My partner and I came here for brunch and we were blown away about the service and overall quality of the food for the $$. Recommend the omelet with hash browns and the freshly squeezed orange juice. What a Great breakfast and brunch spot. I would give this place 5 stars if the serve mimosa or some type of alcohol to compliment the brunch. read more
