The center is easy to find located just off of Briarcrest Drive near the Wal Mart and Bryan High. They have a few really great slides for the older kids and a kiddie pool for the little ones, if you like to swim laps there is a designated time in the morning for this and even some evening hours at different points throughout the year. It is well worth the admission or even the cost of a family pass.

You can even sign up for their email list and be notified if they have a maintenance shut down or if their hours change. It's a terrific place.

4.5 We were only…read moreable to do a few trails here but we really liked the ones we took. There are some great views of the lakes and places to park so you can get out and explore. One of the trails we took was the overlook trail where there is a raised platform where you can see one of the lakes and at that time there were tons of birds on the water. This trail had more of a canopy than you'd expect and some cool trees with Spanish moss hanging on them. We'd come back.

I've spent many weekends there camping, fishing, walking the nice trails with and without my fur babies. The lake is large enough to enjoy without being on top of other anglers. The Rangers have been top notch, Thank you Texas Parks and Wildlife for keeping this park clean.
