I love this place! It is not the best cinema as such, but the feeling, the joy and even the location makes it great! I've attended sing-alongs and I've just booked a viewing in the Deco theater which I'm very much looking forward to. So yes, if you want cinema to be an event. Something special. Not just something you do to get a riduículusly big screen, then I definitely recommend coming to Spegeln. It's more like going to the cinema the way it used to be. Magical! read more

This place reminds me so much of Grand Teatret in Copenhagen. Old-school cineplexes can be refreshing compared to the shiny new chain ones and this one belongs to the charming ones. I was here with some Swedish friends to watch *slowly shuffling to the corner* one of the old Buffy the vampire slayer sing-a-long episodes. Surprisingly, surprisingly (do I sound too defensive now?) it turned out very OK, the cinema looked very neat and the guy checking the tickets were very nice and professional. In the end we got a free DVD of the last season of Buffy (hell, I don't say no to freebies!) and it was fun experience all in all. It would be great to come here again to test this place one more time. Maybe Buffy-free next time? One can only hope! read more

I go there at least ones every month. The staff are super friendly and fast service. The bar has ha very good amount of choices such as tapas, candy and popcorn, wine, beer and drinks. Even warm food! The Brangelina rosé is amazing and the Limhamns ipa as well. Every fourth Friday they have a movie quiz with a lot of people attending and the host of the event is so funny and plays a piano! The bar decco movie saloon is a must! You sit in a big comfortable chair with a small table and a cozy lamp. The environment is Art Deco style with a bar with water and bread (for free) and some choices of candy, wine, cider and beer. A perfect date night! They have a small outdoor seating area. This is probably my favourite place to visit in Malmö. read more
