A bit cold during the fall/winter, but I enjoyed the service and the location. I did not find the location Nicaragua 4959 C.A.B.A in Yelp, but I rated the spa in case it's the same one that moved.

Dr. Andres Freschi is one of the best plastic surgeons in the world. I traveled all the way from…read morethe Island of Kauai in Hawaii for Surgery with him in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I had a very advanced Facial Rejuvenation Facelift Technique called the Composite Deep Plane Facelift. What intrigued me to Dr. Freschi's practice was the fact that he is highly trained in this procedure with years of experience performing it and is now teaching this type of facelift to other Plastic Surgeons from around the world. The Deep Plane Composite Facelift goes deeper into the facial anatomy than the traditional facelift technique known as the SMAS Facelift done by most plastic surgeons. Currently, there are only about 30 or 40 Plastic Surgeons in the entire World that perform this much longer lasting more natural youthful looking Facelift called the Composite Deep Plane Facelift. In the USA to have this same type of facelift procedure done, by one of the few surgeons there that do it, it would have cost me over double the price of what Dr. Freschi charged me.  Its been one week since my Facelift with fat transfer to the periorbital Eye area and to my nose bridge area (instead of a nose job). I am beyond thrilled with the results!! I call Dr. Andres Freschi "Prince Andres" as now since having surgery with him I can go home to Kauai and live "Happily Ever After at 62 years young!!  Dr. Freschi has so much Passion for his work! It so obvious when you meet him that he loves what he does! He is beyond professional and when you meet him you feel like you've known him forever!!

My girlfriend and I decided to get a massage while here in BA. My understanding is that spa culture…read moreis not very common in BA and except for a few places the majority of spas are in hotels which will cost you a good bit of coin. We saw Nirvana had a couple of good local reviews so we decided to check it out - we decided on the 2 hour package - which included a mix of Swedish, Deep Tissue, hot stone, and a chocolate and gold facial, and had the couples massage. I thought the masseuse did a good job, he focused on my knots and tight areas, however did not spend really any time on my legs which was disappointing since it was supposed to be full body. I had never done hot stones but I didn't have the patience for it so they finished off with a massage instead of the stones. The place itself is clean and very zen like, not the typical spa you would find in the US (it's a small apartamento converted to a spa). All in all id say it's worth the price - but id recommend that you are prescriptive with what you want - they seem to be flexible.
