It is considered the largest in the region. The Saturday market is still good, but lacking in the varieties of produce and the number of vendors.
Both attract farm products as well as crafts. A fair deal of junk too, but not so much it's a bother. There is a strong biase toward Provence products, even if the local designs may be made in Madagascar. The produce, breads, cheeses, sausages, olive oils, wines, and the like are clearly local. I liked the fact that on the first visit the strawberries were small, perfect, and flavorful, but by visit #3 few strawberries were available and none looked good. It is definitely local produce.
