They have all kinds of fruit (mangos, bananas, oranges, kiwis, apples, cranberries is what I can think of from the top of my head) and you can just buy most of their fruit by the piece or have them blended in a smoothie or fruit shake. Their choice is bigger, I think they also have water, mixed fruit salads and some types of yoghurt and cereals but I limit myself to the fruit shakes so I can't really talk about the other stuff. The people there are always friendly - even at times I can't even see myself being friendly (I'm just not a morning person) and they have everything out within about a minute. Obviously everything is as fresh as it gets. No pre-blended drinks. I'm a little bummed out that they quit their customer loyalty program but I'll stay remain a loyal customer for sure.

But to be fair, this should be disclosed as it negates the point of having a smoothie. In the remake, he forgot to add the fresh ginger so I had to come back to request it. Rather than put in fresh ginger, he started putting in ginger juice and then argued with me how it's the same thing. I had gotten a few smoothies the week before and they always added fresh ginger (for anyone that drinks smoothies, you know the vitamins/nutrients are in the pulp). I just wanted what I paid for - a fresh ingredients smoothie, with no added sugars/ingredients.

Even when the drink was presented to me, I could see something strange at the bottom where the boba was. Yes, the cups are so kawaii, but the drink was just pathetic. It was watery and had taro chunks (or some kind of chunks) at the bottom unblended. Maybe if the drink was blended then it would have had more flavor, but I ate the chunks at the end and they didn't carry too much flavor. Maybe if the drink was worth one euro then it would have been worth my money, but sadly this was a disgrace to tea. This was not genau.

Flying on Lufthansa, everything was streamlined for the ease and comfort of the visitor. But since I observe the 2-hour check-in rule, I had time to enjoy a meal. There are several options in Terminal 2, many of them focused on the meat and potatoes dishes that are key components in Bavarian cuisine. So it was nice to stumble upon Bistro Organic as an alternative. This "bio" cafe (German version of organic) offers the farm-to-table experience with salads, smoothies, fruit and drinks all packaged to-go, without any additives or preservatives. You can take you meal to the gate, hop on your plane, or dine-in at their zen space. Bistro Organic has a little more flair than your average airport space with Asian lanterns and an open plan with different seating options. There are several tables on either side of a long eating bar, with what I first assumed was an aquarium. No fish, just a tank percolating with green bubbles. After so many heavy meals in Munich, it was nice to have some lighter options as I was departing. The dining room was also quieter than the other dining options in the terminal. Ohmmm.
