I've been so many places to get my nails done and I've always been the happiest when I come here! They were recently able to open back up so if you want to get your nails and toes done this is the only place to go in the 805 and the 818. They have amazing massage chairs and all sorts of different products top of the line service and hot stone massages. The salon is very clean and serene. I made an appointment for 10:30 and was immediately seated in a chair. The girl doing my nails was so sweet as were the other ladies in the salon. I went there for a pedicure today, and experienced the worst pedicure of my life. The nail tech was very nice, but very inexperienced, she hurt me numerous times even though I kept telling her she was hurting me with the little machine. When it came time to apply the nail polish she did a terrible job, they were very uneven, when I told her she agreed and tried taking it off with the little machine again, after that she put acetone and omg, it pretty much stung all of my toes, that's how badly she had hurt them. I told her my toes were burning because she had hurt me and she said "I know, I know" not an I'm sorry, she tried grabbing the machine again, and that is when I told her, No! you've hurt me to much with that, please get someone else to help me. After waiting for the owner to atleast come and apologize and tell me she was going to fix it for about 20 minutes, I went to her and told her how disappointed I was. I had to walk out of there because that was not worth my time and my money. Definitely not a $65 pedicure. read more

i tried this place for the first time because my regular place was booked and i needed it done that day. i paid extra to get bio gel on my natural nails & really disappointed how bad they came out. i was so upset how i wasted $110 on this & a pedicure that was just as bad. i don't like confrontation so i just tipped and left but really wish i didn't even tip because this is absolutely horrible. i came straight home to spend hours filing it all off. 1 star because the ladies were nice at least lol read more

What an unfortunate trip to the nail salon. First, they couldn't do the nails my daughter wanted which was totally fine. She wanted to have a designed painted on top of the color. They said the only way to do it was to get gel. I asked for dips instead and they said ok. When they started- they tried to add length and acrylics. She's an athlete and a young teen so she can't have long nails as I have explained to them. I asked for really only color and a small design. But I guess they won't do it without it all the upsell. What's worse is that I went in for a pedicure - I agreed to add on callus removal. In 25 min she was done. Rushed me, barely did any Callus treatment, no massage, and then paint. So the fastest $40 I've ever spent. The only thing that I got which is good I guess was the cuticle removal. My recommendation is that it's not worth the $40 for a rushed service and definitely not experienced enough for a basic paint and Design. I should have gone to my usual. Nail Luxury. read more

I rarely write reviews you can see on my acct especially not bad ones but after making the decision myself to go there after seeing numerous 5 star and glowing reviews I can say my experience was the exact opposite. It's only fair that others know they may not feel the same way after going there. I went Sat evening and it's Wed today so clearly I had no plans to comment/review but seeing my gel nails after 3 days are lifting after spending $75 I felt best to comment. The quality and service is not worthy of 5 starts ....sorry :(. If you want to go to get your nails done to relax this isn't the place for you. The ladies scream over your thoughts and talk the ENTIRE service. Very disruptive when your there and just want a relaxing environment. They claim they use "expensive" polishes and say how other salons use cheap polishes but their gel polish peels off only after a couple days. Mia comes highly recommended so of course I had her do my nails. When I showed her the results in just days she said it's normal for gel to do that vs Bio. Wow I have had gel for years and this is never the results. So basically she says if you do regular gel that won't last and you can expect this to happen vs using Bio Gel ... great way to upsale you. When she saw the picture of my nail she proceeded to say it's because I opened up cans or boxes. Interesting how Mia is quick to blame the customer before accepting responsibility for poor quality and service. She can suspect this but is grossly incorrect. She says she offered to pay to get my nail done locally but what she failed to tell you she offered $3/$5.00 credit ONLY for 1 nail. My nail place does not have the shimmer polish / color I put on 10 of my nails not on 1 only. read more

However , this place is not that clean (especially for the current standards) and she does use the same file and buffer on your nails as she does MANY MANY other people. I had one pedicure here once and I will never again. Don't trust I won't get fungus. If I'm in a pinch for a gel mani I'll go here but otherwise, there are better places. read more

I'm so done with this salon. Mia is the owner and every time I call and book an appointment with her she doesn't care. She over books herself and tries to put me with another girl thinking I won't know the difference. The last time I went I waited over 20 mins after my pedicure was done to have my manicure done with Mia and 2 other people walked in saying they have appointments with Mia. She triple books! Today I walked in and I saw my name in the appointment book but she didn't care to write down that I had specifically requested her. I walked out and will never be back. i went there today and it was the best nail experience i've had in a long time. usually, when going to nail shops, they don't actually care about my nails. they rip the polish off and don't really worry about the shape or any of the other parts of a manicure that make it a positive experience. mia took her time with my nails and did everything possible to keep my nails healthy while also keeping the shape and color perfect. she also explained a lot about bio gel and ensured me it was a healthier alternative to the other products i've been putting on them. i really enjoyed this place and the experience and will be making the drive from la whenever necessary to come back. read more

I just had a pedicure and gel manicure at Bio Nails Spa; it was a pretty bad experience; the place was not very busy but the 2 women that worked on my nails acted like they were in such a hurry, you would think this could be a relaxing experience but on the contrary, it was most stressing, they did my pedi/mani at the same time, I had to turn my torso in an uncomfortable position. The one foung my msicure was pretty sloppy, I had to finish filing my nails. I had never had gels before so she did not explain to me that the color in the samples would be totally different on my nails, did not make an effort for advice. In the meantime when my pedicure was done I realized she had lifted a toe nail from the base/bed, I couldn't believe the atrocity, she was sneaky and did not say a word. A woman/Kathy came to glue it and tried to fix it with some powder, she was kind, I'm just hoping it won't get infected, they were rude and rushing when there was no rush, one client remainded there when I left, the employees were just doing nothing. I don't know how these reviews are so good. I'm licensed to do nails so obviously I have a different level of quality work. But as I sit here 3 weeks after a manicure and pedicure - I can VISIBLY see damage on my nails. A woman did my manicure while a man did my pedicure. I've never seen any of the techniques they used before. She used a Dremel sander to do my cuticles and I have literal dents she sanded into EVERY one my nails. Including a big "ding" that sanded way down to the nailbed. A pedicure where they don't file the bottom of your feet? I've never seen that before. Oh wait. That's $10 extra ? No. It will take months and months to grow out the damage done to my nails. Highest waste of $85 ever. When I tried to ask anout What was being done to my nails or object To anything - I was ignored. And to avoid causing a scene I stopped with my complaints After about the 5th one. Wish I would've just left. UPDATE response --- as I said I am licensed to do nails. That is not a new technique. It is a lazy time-saving technique that was done VERY poorly. She touched the sander onto my nails and I have cuticle shaped ridges in every single nail that will have to grow out from her poor work. read more
