I'm so glad I listened to the reviews others had shared about Rising Sun, Vanessa and her team!…read more Vanessa, the owner/mechanic, was refreshingly honest and straightforward and gave me a no-nonsense rundown of what my vehicle actually needed. I really appreciated that and feel much more confident about my 4Runner after having it checked out here. She even told me it was a very nice truck, which made me feel so much better about my purchase!  I went in expecting there would probably be quite a bit of routine maintenance that was overdue. Instead, Vanessa told me I still had at least another 5,000 miles before any of it was necessary. The timing couldn't have been better from a financial standpoint! I also want to give a shout-out to Carissa, who I think runs the office. She was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful from the start. I'm very glad I found this shop and will definitely be bringing my 4Runner and my husband's Honda to them when it actually is time for maintenance or repairs.

They kept the car for over four weeks and could not diagnose three out of three problems I was having. I finally picked it up, and my neighbor referred me to René at action imports. I made an appointment with Rene and dropped off the car on a Monday morning at 8:30 AM... Within two hours he had called me and diagnosed all three problems with an exact estimate. I was traveling on Business and he agreed to keep the car for the entire five days until I returned. I picked up the car and everything was fixed. I was very happy. It's a 24-year-old BMW so of course, it always needs a wrench, turned or two :-) I dropped it off again this morning with René and I've already had the exact same experience. I highly recommend René and action imports for all of your import car repairs and needs. Don't be fooled with fancy European repair shops downtown. that charge you an arm and a leg and really don't give a damn if you return. Stick with the local job! Action imports!

BEWARE of Zaq. This guy is a FRAUD!!! See his work in pictures below. I am filling a complaint with…read morethe Better Business Bureau! Steer clear of this guy! Lousy work. Lousy communication. Overpriced. Does more damage than repairs. Zaq did back to back repairs on 2 vehicles before I realized he does horrible work. This guy can't even change a tire without breaking something along the way. He did my rear brakes. When putting wheel and tire back on he over torqued my lug nut. I didn't know until I went to Sam's for a nail in tire and rotation. I told Zaq. Zaq says, " Zaq can fix anything." Well, when Zaq went to fix it, he broke something else. I was calling and calling, no answer. You'll get his voicemail, "I'm probably under the hood", leave a message. For me, he wasn't answering because he was trying to hide that he did more damage. So I had to drive to his dump of a shop to find out he was waiting on a part to fix his screw up. I was able to drive away eventually but I had to take my car to a real garage to have it actually fixed. Now on to car number 2... This car needed a safety bar, front bumper and shifter. Zaq says $700. Eh, I didn't know how overpriced that was until, again, I had to get his work fixed at, again, a real garage. Zaq went to a junk yard, to get a beat up front bumper(my car is silver, he got blue for my car) and broken shifter(see pic below)to put on my car. Unfortunately I did give him $500 until he fixed the bumper. He never did. I have to have it fixed by a standup guy, which Zaq is not. He will put broken and cheap parts on your car to put more money in his pocket. (9) 5 Star reviews for this guy is an absolute joke. Do not even let him change your tire! All those first nine reviews say, he has nine friends. They are all lies!!! When a review lists all the services he's able to do, you have to know they are lies. $300 brake job $500 for incomplete work. He will put the cheapest, any condition parts on your car to save himself money and put more in his pocket. He does not care about the customer. He's even changed the name of his business. Most likely because of his previous work. Please read and learn from my mistake. Huge mistake. He allowed me to drive away with my car this way and I never heard another work from him. Zaq has NO CLASS and ZERO CHARACTER!!! Zaq is a fraud! Beware!!!
