I will be submitting a complaint with the MA Attorney General. Think of it, they charge a 5 cent fee for beer bottles but don't provide a redemption allowance. This is called "pure profit " and against the bottle law. This is not how we do business in America!

Terrible service here. Highly recommend South Coast instead they're great customer service!…read more We have been coming here for many years visiting on vacations to see my dad who has a home here for 20 years and never had an issue. My son was in this store and carried things for grandpa last summer with NO ISSUE. We travelled 3000 miles and arrived today and stopped in. We brought our kids in and the tasting guy was so nice! However the store manager (I'm assuming that's what he was as he was overdressed in a suit) followed my young daughters around eyeing them making them uncomfortable. At one point he told them to not touch anything and they told him they'd not touched anything! The man in the suit was also eyeing another customer across the store and after staring him down aggressively asked him what he needed as well. Then he approached me and I said no we've been many times but thank you nicely. I had our sons grab a couple heavy items and put them in my cart. We grabbed a couple other smaller things. I walked up and another man didn't even greet me as I began loading the cart. He abruptly said I need your ID! I finished unloading and he repeated himself and I said yes I heard you I will get it. They then demanded everyone's ID's. I said these are our children. Do they need to step outside or something? The manager became very hostile and rude. He said he would not sell to us because my son had one of the heavy cases in the cart and he did not have his ID with him. I told the manager I had triple arm surgery and my husband also cannot lift heavy things )he had carpel tunnel surgery recently) so we had asked him to pick it up for us. I said if that was an issue, do we need to leave and then come back or what to do? The manager refused to sell to us and I said at what point are we able to buy? Is this like an indefinite thing or something? He pretty much said not at all. A lot of our friends are law-enforcement at home in our state and I said well if I was to ask the police or if I were to contact the Massachusetts liquor commission, what would they tell me? Then he finally admitted I could come back the next day at that point which obviously we will not be doing. We went to South Coast and had no issue there at all or hassling. I do not usually leave poor reviews but this entire experience was embarrassing and I'd like to note it for future customers. I have a serving license at home and this was over the top and power trip feeling. For reference my husband and I are almost 50 it was very evident we were of age.

Ended up picking up a Mike's Hard party pack for a decent price! Cheaper than anywhere else I've seen it. Line was extremely long but fortunately service was extremely fast! I was in and out of here in no time. The signs hanging in the store made it very easy to locate the other items on the list. Their last minute buy items near the checkout counter are extremely convincing and swayed my friend into purchasing one of them. Malibu Melon Rum is much tastier at a cheaper price!!! Can't go wrong here! Quick service, cheap prices, well worth it!!!

I frequent this place at least once a week to get some hard to find microbrews. The employees are fantastic, they will order anything that they don't have in stock (something I have taken advantage of on several occasions). They have also given me lots of free merch and stuff in the past. Because of this, this place warrents 5 stars. There are also beer and wine tastings at least once a month. If you buy a lot of beer, you should consider getting a frequent buyer card. After buying 10 6 packs you get money off your next purchase. Definitely a deal worth checking out
