For those who like Big churches, this is the one. We felt ok going there but just a little too much for us. Im sure the Pastors are good and we liked the sermon we heard the Sunday we were there. Took about 15 minutes to get out if the parking lot which is expected. We may try the Biltmore in Arden a little smaller we have heard. There plan for the 2026 year is a solid one and at least they have a plan as a Church. read more

I would not recommend this church due to the Pastor Bruce Frank, I do think he takes the words out of context to fit his narrative so I can not follow someone I don't trust, I want to follow someone I believe is genuine . Would never go back. read more

Overall, this is a great church (hence why I call it my home church and joined as a member), but there's a lot of 'why' behind that. First, let's talk about the message. Pastor Bruce's message, even if they aren't always super-deep (understandable when you're trying to break Scripture down for a couple thousand people), are always spot on (reminds me of my favorite pastor from back in San Antonio, Pastor Scott Austin of Park Community Church). Next, there's the groups in this church. This might be where I would ding the church a little if I did, as I feel there could be more groups, more niches (but that's also partially my fault, I'll get into that in a bit). However, there are groups for people in all walks of life, and there is most certainly a group for you if you look for it...or maybe even a few groups. Next, and this is HUGE, this Church runs groups and programs that really work on the answer of "what's next?" AFTER you come to salvation. Too many churches work really hard to get people to recognize and submit to Christ as Lord and Savior...and then do nothing about what happens AFTER that. Biltmore Church helps walk with you through that journey AFTER that. For reference, I came to salvation 22 years ago this month...and it wasn't until about 2-3 years ago that my faith began to really take off...partially due to Biltmore Church. Next, let's talk about serving. One of the things the leadership at Biltmore Church pushes is "we equip an army, not an audience." EVERYBODY is encouraged to serve. For me, that's largely been more tech stuff (I'm a tech guy, it fits). Others serve in parking, greeting, facility maintenance, etc. In my small group, out of 15-20 people there are maybe 2 that I don't know if they're serving anywhere in the church. This concept really blew up during the recent floods after Helene, with our church jumping into action to take care of the community, whether with food and supplies or physically going places and removing trees or digging mud out of houses. We all serve...as Jesus would have us do. Now, to circle back on groups. Remember that one minor potential ding of not enough groups? ...that's mainly because nobody's made those groups yet. I haven't made that group yet. (I'm debating it in my case, but I'm also unsure if God wants me [personally] to continue along the activity that I would have wanted that group to use as a backdrop. [It's not a bad activity, it's games, lol...but it's kinda like Pastor Bruce said about country music for him...while it's not a bad thing, there was a time that God told him it wasn't for him, and I'm getting convicted of the same for me...games aren't a bad thing, but this is beginning to seem like a season where God is telling me they're not for me. If and when that season ends, if that group doesn't exist, I'll probably look at steps to make it myself.]) In short, though, I'd highly recommend Biltmore church for anybody looking for a place to worship or to find out more about God. Specifically, I'll drop a shameless plug for the West Asheville campus, because Pastor Victor is awesome too. And, lastly, if you do check out the West Asheville campus, feel free to come say 'hi.' Roughly every other week I'm serving in the production booth, helping make sure the videos and lights and sounds and all that works for those worshiping. read more

I love my church! Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. Everything from the greeters at the door to the pastor himself is fantastic. I've been to many churches but I've never felt truly at home until I found Biltmore Church. What our church has done for the community has been amazing. I fully recommend this church to anyone searching for a new church to call home! read more

My husband and I have been attending this church for about 7 years. It has a casual atmosphere (jeans are welcome), but Pastor Bruce stays true to the Word. It is definitely a Bible based church. You can tell Bruce spends time on his knees each week, and the Holy Spirit regularly convicts and corrects. (speaking from experience here!) The music is excellent, and the children's ministries are top notch. I highly recommend this church. read more

I grew up in a "Christian" home (the CEO church attendance) and Jesus became my Savior in high school. I was a youth leader for ten years and a missionary with Youth for Christ down south as well. My first church started out small then they caught the "mega church" bug. It changed so I moved on. When I married my husband we started attending a Presbyterian church (Wow, very different from what I knew) As we searched for a church home after moving to Asheville I kept leaning towards Presbyterian. The mega church deal just made me roll my eyes. Alas, there is just one PCA church that appealed to us. But it was on the other side of the city and didn't have too much to offer for my boys and bible studies (we need childcare for BS). Researching I found that Biltmore had a homeschool co-co, Wednesday night teaching with Awana for my littles, small groups and there was a location 5 minutes from us (East Asheville). But NO! It's a mega church!! With concert lights and smoke and drums! Finally my husband convinced me this was our church and stop being stubborn.... Since we started attending I have made many friends and my littles love going to church to see their friends. My oldest even has his first best friend here *sob*. Even the large projection of Pastor Bruce is so well done (making the screen as large as the stage makes it look like he's actually up there walking around) it doesn't bug me at all. Kind people, possible hypocrites... but really, you'll find that outside of the church just as often... but I haven't had any people issues. Even if I did we are all sinners in need of grace. Teaching is spot on and I trust the children's ministry workers with my 3 boys. Thank you God for leading us to West Asheville Biltmore. read more
This is one great Church. I love that this church is doing impactful things in our community. They have something called love loud where they work and give unselfishly to the community. It is a Bible believing and preaching church with current modern band - led worship. I would recommend this church to anyone in western NC read more

Wow, only 1 review for a church this size? Well, I guess no one checks Yelp for churches....but they should! Ok, so here's my experience. I attended there about 4 times a few years back. Actually started really liking it, and even threw $40 in the basket. After church that day, we went to the mall, had lunch, and came home to see a police car and another car in our driveway! WTH? At first I thought someone had broke into our house while we were gone, but I was wrong. This was much worse! Some wise-guy more likely wise-girl had decided that the birthmark on our 1 yr old son was a bruise, and that we were abusing our child, and called the police. Wow, so that's what we get for putting money in the basket? Long story short, what an ordeal!!! Could have lost custody of my child with no evidence of abuse, just a hunch from someone who changed my kid's diaper (WHo I explicitly told them not to, and to notify me in case my child needed a diaper change!). Thank God the CPS agent confirmed it was indeed a birthmark, but for legality's sake, we still had to have the mark confirmed by a doctor which was a nightmare! Dozens of calls back and forth later, several trips to the county health dept waiting in the lobby for 3 hours with 2 toddlers to prove my innocence, and 2 months later, my name was finally cleared. So you can imagine we were pretty PO'd at the whole thing. I was too. Knowing that this situation was going to challenge my faith, my husband called the church a day or two after it happened and asked them to call me and check on me. Because, for all they know, he (or I) could have been an abuser and taken away by the police, and then I would be left having to raise 2 kids without a wage earner in the house, and might need some help with bills, child-rearing, etc. Guy (pastor) on the phone agreed...but the church NEVER called! Lost a LOT of faith in the church (organization, not God) and in people in general over this incident. As a result, in subsequent years, if my kids have even the tiniest knick or cut/bruise on them...they don't go out in public. Because seriously, it's NOT worth losing your kid over! Basically, my 1 star reciew is because the church FAILED to do the one thing it should do...meet the needs of it's parishioners. I understand if they feel they had to narc us out to the cops. But they had our phone #, they should have followed up by calling the house to see if they could help in any way after the fact in case somebody was in jail and we needed financial help/ babysitting, etc. read more
Great music and bible based teaching. This church is a great example of how churches should reach out to its community. They routinely have service projects to assist those in need and have plans to eliminate the foster care crisis in the local area. I've been able to find great community through this church. If you're in the area and don't have a place you are currently attending, give it a shot. read more

I absolutely love this church! The culture is so life-giving and refreshing. Pastor Bruce has an incredible way of speaking truth, but in an incredibly loving way. Honestly, my wife and I never felt right about this church. Pastor Bruce is a good speaker but is not in the WORD as much as WE wanted. He tells a lot of stories and can be funny at times, but we never came away with a sermon that had any spiritual substance. If you want a feel good church, this would be the one. We met more unsaved (after getting to know them) people at Biltmore than we did those that were believers (even some that were on the same stage) SAD! Need to preach JESUS and the CROSS!!!!! read more

I visited Biltmore church about 6 months ago as a customer had invited me. Planned to go 1 time, but haven't missed a service since. Grest messages! Relavent, down to earth, very biblical but presented in personal, where I am todsy, way. Periodically over the 9 years since moving here, I visited a few churches but not found a fit. The connect groups (small groups that meet on Sunday or other times during the week) make a great informal way to make friends with common interests. It's nice to know someone cares. Informal casual dress is great. Can come into service with morning coffee. Very welcoming. I go to Hendersonville campus on upward road. It's 10 min away. read more

My wife and I moved from Los Angeles to raise our twins in the Asheville area. We were invited to Biltmore Baptist by some friends. At first we were unsure because we are not Baptist and have always considered ourselves "non-denominational". The first Sunday we went the music was awesome and a nice mix of modern stuff. The first words out of the pastors mouth was "this is not a place for perfect people... and if you are not perfect but seeking a relationship with God you are in the right place". That opened the door for us. We were impressed by their childrens program, the music and the amazing outreach to us specifically by one of the other pastors in charge of welcoming people, Carl Toth. (find this guy - he is great). They do a good job of keeping "church" modern. We joined a small group now and have made wonderful friends. Downside: There are a lot of people there and traffic can feel like LA. But, the upside is also that there are a lot of people there for a wide network of friends who are "like minded". Not a lot of "religion" there that I can see... and we like that. Mostly people trying to keep it real and study the Bible and worship God and reach out to serve others like helping in Haiti. My wife and i are big on doing something greater with our lives and this church has given us some cool opportunities to really help people in need - even in other countries. Gotta keep in mind that anytime there is an open to the public thing there are always going to be a few "crazy" people. This is a statistic for everything. But so far we are loving it. read more

My husband and I have been attending Biltmore for two years and find it to be an authentic Bible-based church. The congregation is huge and that is not for everybody but there is no end to the Bible studies, events, service projects, etc. of which you can take part. The music is outstanding and lifts your Spirit to allow you to worship with an open and full heart. The pastor is a good man who brings an authentic Bible message each week. No church can meet all of everyone's needs, but this is a Bible preaching, God honoring place to worship and serve God. read more

I for one love Biltmore! And the funny thing is I know I am not the only one because the place is packed every Sunday! When you walk in you instantly feel welcomed because there are tons of people there to greet you and answer your questions. Then when the service starts the worship is amazing!!! All of the music is powerful and relevant! The music is always followed by a message (usually by the lead pastor, Pastor Bruce). Pastor Bruce does a great job of relaying Biblical truth by reading the Bible and related his own experiences to those same truths! He is very real and transparent! Lastly, I LOVE that Pastor Bruce stands in the lobby and anyone that wants to meet or talk to him has the ability to do so! For a church the size of Biltmore this is rarely seen. Great church, great Sunday morning, you should try it out! read more

Yes, it's Big! The heart of this church that is. It can be a bit overwhelming at first. Pastor Bruce Frank is an amazing pastor. He preaches straight from the Bible with no apologies. I don't go to this church for the people...I go for God's word. We are all imperfect people trying to follow God's commands. If you judge churches by the people in them you are doomed to never find one because there are no perfect people. That's like not going to the gym because there's fat people there. read more

Biltmore Baptist is a wonderful church. I've attended there for over 12 years now and I have to say that the church is all about proclaiming the life saving message of Grace through Jesus Christ as one's personal savior. Additionally, never was the subject of either in favor of, or agains the war in Iraq ever mentioned to the congregation. The church just doesn't get into subjects that are off point of coming to know and serve Jesus Christ. It's too bad the prior review was noted. He must not have been able to find a parking place the church is so popular :-) read more

I just attended this past Sunday and this was my experience. I was wowed by the massiveness, and the fact that it had different classes for kids (divided up by ages of course, so that was like four or five groups). I'm used to it being just a youth group and adult service and if you have babies you take them with you. So I thought it was nice that they had a nursery or day care for the infants. they also have a bakery/ coffee shop and you can eat or drink in the church. where I come from you can only have water or you have to sneak it in. So that was a nice change of pace. I felt a definite openness about the church, everyone greats you and smiles. The music for the praise and worship was like Christian rock which was uplifting, and gets you in the zone. There are projectors for the people in the back or balcony so they sing a long and of course see what is going on, on stage. Now the service itself... the pastor gave a great sermon. He read from the bible, gave quotes, broke down the scripture, gave examples, very truthful, and even gave a bit of comedy to liven the whole thing up or put own personality in it. I enjoyed the service and would go back again. read more

Visited from out of town. Excellent church and very relational. My wife and I were told "Welcome" six times before hitting the sanctuary. Finding your way was very easy. Not a one-dimensional church - people of every manner, make and kind. I saw ties and I saw tattoos. I am flabbergasted by the negative reviews left here! I've lived in Asheville for nearly fifteen years, and never did I feel that Biltmore Baptist was about Profit over people! On the contrary! BBC helped start the Tuesday-night "Cowboy Church" for good, hard-working country people who can't fit in the average Sunday morning service - not exactly 'high-rollers'. They ran the "vertical" service on Sunday nights for the same reason, to reach young singles and college kids in the area - again, not a high money bracket. The new campus in Swannanoa is nestled among the various trailer parks, and many outreach events have been offered to that same community. I have seen warm, welcoming smiles there, and great worship. Try them again! read more

My family and I have been members at BBC for about 2.5 years, and I can't say enough good things about the church. At first I must admit that I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer size of the church, but it quickly shrunk in size as we got involved and made friends. The word of God reaches me through Pastor Bruce like no other pastor I have ever heard before; it's no wonder that thousands of people around the world tune in online to hear his messages. As the mom of two young boys, I have also been very happy with their childcare and all of the opportunities for children through their church. They truly are a church that reaches up, reaches in, and reaches out. read more

I was not a church goer since I was 15. I just was forced by my father to go because he wanted us to learn about God. My daughter and her husband went for 2 years and joined. I said seems like too big of church. But every church my daughter went to (she is an elementary school teacher) wanted her in charge of day care. She wanted to her the sermon as she is with kids all week. She would leave. Would you want to do what you do all week on your sunday off? I said I will try it but don't expect me to go again. When I went in, I loved the music and all that this Church does for our community. I don't think the endorse any war but are helping the people who are innocent and don't have a choice in the matter of war. They really only care about people who have nothing. Well, Biltmore fits us perfect because it so big that you do not stand out and still hear about god. I am amazed at how much I do remember about the bible that I felt was boring. Pastor Bruce bring it down to an explains what a section of the bible is meaning to reflect our live. It has helped me a great deal as to guidelines for my life . I feel the church is brought up to date for the times of now. I also find that there is a diverse age of people that attend I've seen ranging up to 80 or more years! They clap and sing right along with the music. Some have been members for 50 plus years. Not all music is loud it does have soft music also. I can name other churches that are similar to Biltmore. They must be doing something right to have so many members besides one that have not joined. That is how I feel. I am really concerned when people ask what church you attend and say Biltmore Baptist and get an Oh, while making a face. Then they change the subject. They don't even give us a chance to explain. Why do they do this? I don't know why I will continue to go and not be ashamed when I say Biltmore when asked. One day I will be able to ask why the make a face. Colleen read more

We've been attending Biltmore Church since 1999. Biltmore is Biblically correct pointing us to Jesus. It is Jesus centered. I look forward to the worship service and the contemporary music. Both point to Jesus. The motto is Reach Up, Reach In, Reach Out. That's exactly what Biltmore does. I understand we all have different experiences because of what's going on in our own life's. Throughout my life's experiences, Biltmore has blessed me and pointed me to focus on Jesus. And teaches me "to take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ" Corinthians 10:5 and "whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8 Our pastors encourage us reading the Bible. Biltmore focuses on missions and helping others as Jesus did. If you want to be blessed and you go with a clear mind opened to the Holy Spirit, you will be blessed. read more

The reviews here are kind of comical. I want to see reviews of the actual church experience, whether it's: friendliness and welcoming nature of the greeters and congregation; music; worship service. It shouldn't be about whether you think the pastor shouldn't be making any money or that they even collect a tithe. I have no idea how much Dr Bruce Frank makes. The person stating that he makes too much doesn't say how much he makes either. As for the reviewer who simply gave 1 star because of the issue with their child...again, I don't think that warrants giving the church 1 star. As for myself, I visited Biltmore Baptist-Arden more than once, checking to see if my experiences there were consistent. They were. I didn't find the greeters to be very friendly, or at least not as friendly as I've seen or experienced at other churches. Perhaps the size is just too big to have a personal experience there. I didn't like the music...foremost it was too loud, rock-oriented for my taste. I will say that I think Dr Frank is a mixed bag for me. I want to like the guy, but his speaking style just seems a little frenetic to me...like it's not relaxing to listen to him give a message because he doesn't seem to have a defined message most of the times I've seen him preach. He talks like he's rushing through and too fast. That's probably my big reason why I decided to keep looking for another church home. If I can't feel comfortable and am not being being fed spiritually, then I find a church that does that for me. So I'd give 2 stars. I moved to Asheville from a large city where I went to a mega church that did everything right...great greeters, music that was contemporary yet not overbearing with modern rock , and best Pastor I've ever had (Johnny Hunt). So it's tough to find a church that compares to that one. read more

Meet the Manager: Bruce F.
Dr. Bruce Frank, Lead Pastor of Biltmore Church, is a gifted communicator with a creative teaching style relevant to today's culture. Bruce and his wife, Lori, along with their two sons, Tyler and Conner, moved from Humble, Texas in August 2008 to join the Biltmore Family. Bruce was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but grew up in Oklahoma and Texas. He became a follower of Christ at the age of 17 through the influence of his three brothers. He attended Texas Tech University (BBA '86) and was involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. He felt called to the ministry during that time and soon enrolled at Southwestern Seminary (MDIV. '91) in Ft. Worth, Texas. There he began his first local church staff experience, and most importantly, met Lori Masters, whom he married in 1989. He continued his studies and received his D.Min. from Luther Rice Seminary in 2000. His hobbies include golf, running and reading. He loves dogs; cats...not so much.

When I was in Iraq, my life was on the line daily. There were more than 300 incoming mortars, rockets, and RPG's (Rocket propelled grenades), so just walking to my post was possibly the end of me on this earth. My wife was in labor with our first son while I was in the air, being flown to Forward Operating Base Falcon (FOB Falcon/Camp Falcon), just outside of Baghdad. She held onto the Lord and was so faithful to me, as I was to her. To me, eternity was so real at that time and so very important. When I learned that the church my wife was attending was debating on allowing Pastor's with certain sins to actually flaunt the sin from the pulpit, I got on the Yahoo Messenger from my housing unit and asked her to please try Biltmore Baptist Church. What I was looking for was simple. The prior church believed in the crucifixion of Christ and the love of Christ toward all persons, regardless of the sin. I liked that very much and the people were so very kind, but asked myself, "Would I entrust the soul of my son to this church body, with this doctrine, if a mortar took me out?". The answer was "no", because a fundamental staple was missing. The resurrection of Jesus Christ and how that act fills the believer with the ability to repent of sin and to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ was lacking. It is so difficult to find a balanced atmosphere where people are loved unconditionally, but not pandered to and petted for their sin. Biltmore Baptist is that place for us, where God loves unconditionally, and Jesus Christ is presented in a holy manner, with the hope of walking in newness. In 1996, I started visiting Biltmore Baptist and I am a "hard sell" when it comes to finding a church home that I would commit to. In 2013, I joined. Myself, my wife, and our two sons have joined. Our oldest son accepted Jesus Christ a few days ago, and not due to his attendance in church completely, but in the difference God has made in both of his parents. I am no longer an angry man and being planted in such a fruitful and loving church has made all the difference. It is like few other churches in that the doctrine is sound, but like all others in the following way. If you are looking for God, you can find Him there. If you are looking to justify not attending, that is available too. read more

See, here's the thing...church was never meant to be this way...many would know and understand this if they would just read the word of God...what keeps Pastors in the gravy is unlearned believers...too much to list here so you must do your own study of the origins and structure of the church...man-made doctrines are what is destroying the body of Christ. Those elitist (elect) demanding support and feelings that they are worthy of entitlements will not accept this...Jesus was cared for, not supported by and this is a hard pill for Pastors profiting of the flock when scripture is clear they divided up the collection and gave to those who had need...have you ever seen leaders take up collection and give to the needs of their flock? Never. Jesus and the apostles sacrificed and gave their lives for the cause of Christ and lived in harsh conditions, not like the many Pastors who live in lavish homes and lead lavish lifeystyles. Rewards are souls won, not physical rewards like money, huge homes, large salaries and ski trips. The structure of the modern church age is corrupt and marred by regulations. While the ones truly seeking to worship are left scattered! Bruce Frank and many like him, are just on example of many distorting the word of God and profitting from it while their precious flock are suffering from guilt-driven sermons to inflate the collection plate thereby promoting their lavishness. If Jesus, the Son of God never took payment for spreading and sharing the gospel, then that ought to be our model and mirror. I wanted to give zero but required atleast one star to post. read more

To the gentleman that thinks BBC is just a bunch of judge mental hypocrites because they, as Southern Baptist always have done. Support our troops, and yes not only are we as Christ followers to obey the laws of our land. Have you as so many others have, forgotten 911? Well, I served in the USAF during Vietnam. I was just a kid when I enlisted and was scared out of my wits. But, we serve and go when called upon regardless of the unknown. We served because the people were the oppressed. And we now serve because we were attacked upon our own soil. Do you seriously believe these young men and women want to come home missing body parts, or worse yet, be in body bags? We as Americans have to all understand that if we do not stand up to this evil, we will no longer be living in a free country. It's already headed that way, just in case you haven't noticed. Christ, went to Calvary and shed his blood for our sin. Because, God loves the world so much. I am not a enlisted member of BBC, but I have attended regularly for some time now. And I can tell you as a long time Christian, that I have never in all this time heard anything that is not Biblical come from the pulpit at BBC. Remember, we are are all God's creation, red, yellow, black or white we were all created equal in his site. As Christian Americans, "WELL, THESE COLORS DON'T RUN !" God loves you and so does the members of BBC. You are loved ! read more

I had been looking for a church after moving here from Florida... and thought I would never find one like the church I left.... but .... God showed me that you need to let him direct you.... My granddaughter invited me to Biltmore and it only took ONE visit to know this is where God wanted me to serve him... Pastor Bruce is a MAN of GOD .. and preaches the word every wk and he relates it to everyday life... and explains it where everyone can understand it ... His STAFF is also so into the word... from even the volunteers that direct the traffic to the ones that sing and minister in SO many ways.... as far as the comment stated about the money.. it you tithe as God shows you in his word... it should not ever be a problem... I LOVE this church and the people that go there ... I have never experienced such a wonderful spiritual up-lift from the time I am driving to find a parking place and the time I am leaving!!!! I live in Canton,NC and it seems the time to get to church .... flies by .... Thank you God for leading me to Biltmore Baptist Church!!! read more

I have been connected to Biltmore Church for a very long time. I have never met more qualified Pastors than those who serve at Biltmore. They preach the word of God. My Grand-daughter went to the youth group one time and she loves it. She begs to go to church even on days they are not having church. The people who work with the kids are mostly teachers and my grand daughter learns a lot, plus the interaction with the other kids is great. There are on site Officers for everyone's protection, Medical staff in case of a medical emergency. Godly counseling, the church is extremely involved in the community. Always doing something to make the community better. Thank you. Where you have people , there is always room for error, so just because humans make errors, don't write the church off. No one is perfect. Christians are not perfect, they are just forgiven. You don't go to church for the people, you go to worship God. read more

This church is not all about money. Infact, the pastor, who has been there for about 4 years, has only preached the subject of tything 7 times. And the fact that supporing our government when it says we must fight an enemy of our country is hardy the same thing as slaughtering innocent unborn children. Also we spend a great deal of our tythings on world missions. Not only taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the underdeveloped world contries but medical supplies, food and educational tools. We are at this very moment in Kenya teaching young girls how to make a living, so that they no longer have to prostitute themselves for money to eat. IF you would actually spend time there or even just ask to see the books on our missions and everything we do, you would not have to sit at your computers concocting lies about a very Christ driven church. May God reach you with His truth. read more

Our family absolutely LOVES this church. We have been attending for over three years, and found the people to be anything but judgemental. When we began attending this church my husband and I were separated and he was an alcoholic. Through some of the excellent support programs at the church, our marriage is now restored (to better than it ever was!!), and my husband has been sober for 3 years now. Praise GOD!! It made me sad to read the previous review. Because the church supported us in our difficult road with alcoholism, it does not mean they support alcoholism, it was US they supported. As with the war, It is not that we believe war is right, but we do support the families and soldiers that are enduring it, and we continue to pray, as the bible instructs us, for the leaders of our country in the decisions they make. Even if we do not agree with them. read more

Biltmore Baptist Church goes out of its way to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ with community events and programs to serve the people of Western North Carolina and the world. In the past year, I have served with other members by maintaining local schools and holding a free health and dental clinic to the people of the community. In addition, I have also seen first-hand the love of the people of Biltmore Baptist Church as I've joined them in serving people in other parts of the world on one of many mission trips that the church coordinates each year. Each week, Pastor Bruce Frank preaches from The Bible. He makes God's Word relevant to today's generation. Thankful to have this church in my community reaching out to share God's love with others and thankful to be a part of it. read more

This was the first church my family attended after we moved here over 15 years ago and we knew it was the church for us. I loved the smiling greeters, awesome children's department, the beautiful music and of course the bible teaching preaching! This is a large church and to get to know people you need to be in a connect group. There are several to choose from and they encourage you to visit around until you find the right fit. Also, if you love to reach out to the community and spread God's love whether it be through providing a thanksgiving meal, shoes for kids, coats and blankets to the homeless, or fixing up local area schools, you won't be disappointed! I love my church. Come visit! We'd love to have you! read more

This is such a wonderful church! There is an amazing energy that occurs when so many people gather in one place and worship. The energy no doubt is the holy spirit moving within its parishioners and the walls of the church itself. The energy is almost tangible. The music is uplifting as well as the message from Pastor Frank. Even when there are substitute pastors, the biblical message is no less endearing or meaningful. Although this is a very big church, there are opportunities to connect with others your own age. There are "Connect Groups" offered after the early morning service and before the late morning service. I encourage you to give this church a try. read more

This is a wonderful church! Not only is it friendly and welcoming, the preaching is convicting and challenging. God's Word is exalted! After going here for almost 2 years, money has been mentioned maybe twice and it's NEVER hammered on. We come together to worship our God and Savior, who is unbelievably holy and righteous and gave us Jesus to redeem us from the penalty of our wickedness. God is Love but He is also Just and God hates sin. The preaching at Biltmore will reveal God's heart of compassion for people through the truth of His Word. Sure, we're all messed up! We are just a bunch of beggars telling other beggars where to find food. read more

We moved here a few years ago and took a long time (over a year) visiting churches of different denominations located throughout the Asheville area before we joined Biltmore Baptist Church. We've belonged to Presbyterian, Baptist and Bible (nondenominational) churches over the years (we've had to move a good bit) and we have found Biltmore Baptist to be a wonderful church for our family. Many of the sermons are about learning to NOT be judgmental of others but to try to lead people to Christ by example - being kind to others and trying to do as Jesus would do. They have online services too, so you can watch from home as well. We love it! read more

We enjoyed attending a number of services, and outside activities, at Biltmore Baptist Church. Unfortunately, since we are outside of Brevard, the distance proves to be a little farther than we'd like. We attended the "Valentine's Day" couples dinner this past year with friends. The food was great and we had a wonderful time. The only downside I found with this church is the size. One can attend for years and still feel like a newcomer when meeting others. Celebrate Recovery is an incredible ministry here. I respectfully disagree with the other review on this site. For me, I've been unable to judge a church by one visit. read more

Biltmore Baptist in Arden, N.C. is awesome! I've been attending for five years and I can't imagine a better church for worship. The music is incredible from the orchestra to the praise team to the very talented choir. Pastor Bruce never fails to deliver a message that is bible based and always relevant to a Christian's walk. The staff is always ready with open arms whether you need to find a seat or prayer. This church supports missions close to home and far away. If you want to be blown away by what God can do in your life and the life of others I suggest you attend Biltmore Baptist. read more

It's the largest church in our area. If you attend the main campus (Arden), you would think that its a cult, but its not! The church is very giving and it reaches out to the community and we give a bunch of money to compassion international and other organizations. A lot of big mega churches nowadays will not talk about the gospel, we do! Pastor Bruce is an amazing pastor that doesn't preach on just his opinions, he preaches from the WORD and breaks it down for us so we can understand what its talking about! If you're in the WNC area, give us a try! Sundays: 9:15 & 11:00 AM. read more

I attended this church's Sunday evening Vertical meetings several times and found the evenings to be packed with folks wanting to worship God and learn from the Bible. The pastor was an excellent communicator and impressed me as sincerely wanting to bless the audience with creative talks from God's perspective about life's issues. I can see why so many people attend this church. I was warmly welcomed and truly believe they want to glorify God. Great music, too. Very worshipful. I recommend these good people and their ministry. read more

Our family is so blessed by BBC and have found the church to be friendly, loving and caring. BBC is a soul winning church that reaches those in need around the world. If you care about salvations, praise and worship, and following God's word the way it is written this is the church for you. BBC does not have their own agenda but God's. The pastors are in touch with the Word and have a sense of humor, the praise and worship incredible and our kids can't wait to get there!!! read more

Money rules at the Biltmore Baptist Church. Don't get in the way of the pastors, especially the music minister, or you will get steamrolled right over. "Profit over People" should be their slogan. It's pretty sad that I actually know more people who used to go to Biltmore Baptist than who currently attend. read more

We've attended Biltmore for 13 years. If you are looking for a church that preaches the Truth and cares about the people you found it. It's pretty large so find a small group as soon as you can. Layton Parker and or Bart Neil's groups are a great place to start if you don't know anyone yet. read more

If you're looking for a bunch judgmental hypocrites who actually have very little to do with Jesus, this is your kind of church. How does one manage to be pro-life but have no problem supporting the un-just war going on in Iraq? Stay away for the sake of your faith. read more
