The lobby got a great makeover and the updated room had a fresh and modern look. This time we splurged and got a Presidential 3BR suite and it was gorgeous. The room had a massive wrap around balcony and the view from there and the room itself was absolutely amazing. Though, our stay was not without its issues such as recurring AC problems. Luckily the staff was attentive and fixed the issue after some time. If I could offer any feedback on our experience, it would be to put some key essentials in the room. We had a full size kitchen but there were no paper towels, dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, sponges, or even basic things like salt and pepper. The bathrooms too didn't have hand soap, an adequate amount of body wash, or even a place to hang towels. Another concern I plan to mention to management was the fact that people were throwing things from the rooftop lounge down onto our balcony, including straws, drink stirrers, food and, worryingly, a knife. If anyone would have been sitting on the deck when the knife was thrown it could have been a major issue. In the end, the room was absolutely breathtaking. With a few improvements it could be even better. Overall 4 stars. I could see myself returning in the future.

Staycation approved!…read more We spent a few nights at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach this summer (in August) and really enjoyed it. We used points benefits from one of our credit cards. The location is fantastic, as it is directly across the street from the beach. Hotel guests have access to beach chairs, and can order cocktails while sunning on the sand. Check in was smooth, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there are even free bikes available for guests. Our upgraded suite was beautiful and had a small kitchen, which was a nice bonus. We had a partial view of the ocean. The bathroom amenities deserve their own mention. The shampoo, soaps and lotions were AMAZING. It's called Byredo, Mojave Ghost. Of course, I looked them up afterward and quickly realized why they were so good and came with a hefty price tag. The rooftop pool has a bar nearby and plenty of opportunity to just relax and do absolutely nothing, which is kind of the point of a staycation. There are two restaurants on property. The Italian restaurant was merely okay, but the Asian restaurant was excellent, and had Beautiful views of the shore, great food, and both the brunch and dinner menus were impressive. The gym is on the smaller side but had everything we needed for a workout. Even included a Peloton. I took a complimentary yoga class on the beach provided for hotel guests. Towels were provided so all I needed was my water bottle. Overall, this is a great South Florida staycation spot. Great location, beautiful property, excellent amenities and genuinely lovely staff. We would definitely come back.

Only thing was that we had some trouble when we rented the bikes and since they're hosted by a third party, the conrad staff could only do so much. Otherwise, amazing rooms!!!

We had such a great time in late August that we booked another stay this past weekend. Yes of…read morecourse, the pool is great, the private beach amazing, the lobby is beautiful, but what honestly brought us back so quickly was the customer service from EVERYONE. Specifically, the Valet and Bell hop crew. This review is a for a big shout out to Patrick, Max, Richy and the entire Valet crew (sadly I couldn't remember everyone's names) but they knew mine. Multiple times we showed up with luggage, our 3 yr old, multiple bags to carry and this entire Valet team moved like a Nascar pit crew. Often times several members all helping to get our bags, relieve my wife of anything she was carrying, and made us feel like kings. A few of the guys were always there to open the doors for us. I even called down from the room to request my car and Patrick and Max are waiting for me with the door open, "got you all set Joe". Seriously, I feel like these guys are the unsung heroes to making sure my vacation was relaxing. You don't understand what a great feeling it is to start you trip with this level of service. I tipped over $60 and would have done more if I had more cash on me. Thank you to everyone but specifically the Valet crew. You may not realize it, but you were the stars of our two vacations. See you guys real soon!

Upon arrival, we had a designated/separate line for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members, which felt really nice. The staff member helping us was beyond wonderful and made sure that our stay was extended and room upgraded for my birthday. She gave us welcome drinks to redeem at the pool bar as well. We were given wristbands for the resort which was our room key and all access for our stay. The hotel was very nice and I loved that they had a Starbucks, restaurants and cafe all onsite. My only note of improvement is that the lobby was not cold and felt warm and humid the entire weekend which felt odd. The room we had was lovely. The ocean view was top notch and the recent renovations of the room were very nice as well. We got drinks at the beach bar with a pre-dinner snack. The bartender there was also really great. We also enjoyed a pool day on Sunday. We got downstairs early and got a great spot. Enjoyed lunch and some drinks by the pool. I was very intrigued to hear they have a membership program for the resort as well. Overall, the stay was beyond wonderful and we will definitely be coming back to enjoy a pool day and another staycation soon. 10/10 recommend.

I give this Ritz Carlton stay a 3.5 stars... I feel like the customer experience at RC properties…read morehas gone down hill quite a bit over the past several years, and this property is also a little dated. There are no Bonvoy elite perks- though titanium, they didn't do anything special for elite status. The pool & service were fantastic though! We liked the pool table in the lobby but it's quite worn in :) The location can't be beat on Fort Lauderdale beach bc it's so central to everything. We had an intercostal balcony room that was spacious & perfect, and seems to have been updated within the last few years. The stocked mini fridge was a letdown bc it was broken & maintenance couldn't fix it so they brought in another, which was great but took up space. The service from Rodney on the pool deck was wonderful, he was so professional & still went out of his way to make our days great. The burger was delicious but a little too undercooked for Joey. We loved the hot tubs! Because there was a huge F1 conference (sold-out hotel but everyone working), the pool deck was empty so that was lovely :) All in all, it was a great stay -- a few minor details & quite pricey but we really enjoyed our time!

But parts of it feel like they've been around long enough to have Marriott Bonvoy stories from three eras. The staff is what saves it. Especially the pool staff. They were the real heroes here. Attentive. Kind. Moving with purpose. Making guests feel taken care of. That pool team deserves their own gold-plated name tags and a standing ovation. Service overall had the right energy. Helpful. Polished. Professional. The kind of staff that reminds you why people still expect more from a Ritz. The atmosphere is upscale but a little dated. Still nice. Still beachy. Still Fort Lauderdale luxury. But not brand-new luxury. More "kept together by great staff and ocean views" luxury. I'd recommend making reservations where needed. This is not the kind of place where you want to freestyle everything and hope for the best. it's giving... old money hotel with pool staff carrying the franchise like LeBron in the playoffs.

Sometimes the staff on the ground floor would have us take the service elevator, but then the cleaning staff trying to use those elevators would be visibly frustrated with any guests in the elevator. Otherwise all the staff were friendly, loved that you could order lunch and drinks from your pool chair. The lazy river was much smaller than what it looked online, but my son still had the best time in the river. I do wish there was a lifeguard on duty. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were pretty comfortable. The restaurant was solid! Breakfast could be slow, but unless you have a child who just wants to be at the pool it would be a non-issue. We loved the beach as well. My biggest complaint was the onsite parking price. You have no choice but to valet and they getcha at around $60 per day.

We had to sign that we would pay it and call Chase Travel and have them speak with the resort. Even then, the front desk manager was implying we might have to pay it. In the end, I have paperwork showing no balance but we will still keep checking. This is a beautiful hotel but it is ruined the minute you walk in and are treated like a captive checkbook. Also, keep in mind that there are no pool towels after 8PM. It was very cold getting out when the resort fee was supposed to include towels, LOL. The little restaurant next door is awesome. The hotel would have been awesome if not for the front desk people, bluntly. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.
