All I can say is...Wow! Bill's work is incredible. It was a very sad day when a falling object took a hefty chip out of the 1/2" thick glass on my coffee table. Before forking over $700 for new piece of custom glass (yikes!) or giving up on the table altogether (sad face emoji), I decided to give Bill a call. He was up front that windshield glass and table top glass are totally different animals, but came by right away to take a look. He said that this was a new challenge for him, but he was up for it. The results surpassed even his expectations; the chip is only barely visible now in certain lights. Bill came to my downtown place of work and repaired a small stone chip I had picked up in the windshield of my Audi A3. He decided not to drill it, but just fill and polish. Came out great. The damaged area is invisible now, unless you know exactly where to look (and even then, very hard to see). Good as new. Called in the afternoon one day and he was out at 9:45 the next morning. Entire operation took about 25 minutes. Price was very reasonable. He is an absolute craftsman who really cares about his work and is happy to share his tips and techniques. He has a well-developed arsenal of specialty tools and materials. (Also great to get to meet the "yelp famous" Rocky the dachshund!) Had a chip repaired by Bill about three years ago, and darned if I didn't get another one yesterday. Couldn't rememer the name of this place, and 411 was no help. So...I Yelped it and sure enough, there was Bill, his great service all Yelp-starred up. I called and he remembered me! From one little repair, three years ago! He's on his way to my work right now (same day service within two hours!!). Extremely reasonable price...fast and friendly service. I'll use him every time! I had a pretty big chip in my windshield from a rock that was kicked up on the freeway I called Bill and the same day, he agreed to meet me in a shopping center parking lot where he repaired my windshield while I looked inside of a store and called me when the work was done. Bill is wonderful! He came to my workplace immediately and fixed my windshield which had been hit quite hard. He cautioned that, because the crater caused by the rock was deep, the repair may not be as seamless as he would like. In the end, he did a beautiful job and you cannot notice where it was repaired. I bought a new used car from a dealership in Fremont. When I got home I didn't see the two tiny chip marks from the previous owner, and the dealership didn't tell me about them either, (shady) but once home I knew I had to get them repaired or I would end up replacing the whole windshield. Read the reviews, saw the pics on how he DOES NOT REPLACE WINDSHIELDS....he even has pictures like memes that say he does not REPLACE windshields. He answered and set up an appointment for that afternoon. He was exactly on time. He had his helper with him Rocky! What a sweet pup! Bill got right to it! After taking a rock to the windshield last Thursday and doing some research on Yelp, I called Bill. He was out of town, but said he was available Friday and Saturday. I took him up on the Saturday offer and he was over here at our place on time. Took him about 30 minutes to fix the crack and while I waited I spent some time with his adorable dog, Rocky. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, which helped me understand why getting a crack/chip repaired correctly is so important.
