When I canceled, they proceeded to bill me for the next month then replied with sorry, we have already billed, no refunds, even though I canceled before they billed. Would stay away from. If I could give this company a zero star or even a negative, I would. These people are thieves. A thief is someone who takes your money when they do not have permission to do so. These F'ers have been dipping into my bank account for almost a year AFTER I cancelled services with them. Unbelievable. I've called. I've written. I've complained. I finally had to put a block at my bank, because they would not stop. They're so slimy, they don't even have a proper place you can call. They outsource everything. Their advertising cold callers harangue you all the way from the Philippines. Anyone you call here says they cannot help you. One had the audacity to say it's not their fault because they got hacked and their system hasn't worked properly for months. Gee, I wonder why they got hacked? I have been trying to cancel services for well over 6 months.. their cancellation services always say error when you cal they say the system is down and I can't cancel. I finally went to my bank disputed charges & changed my debit card. Now they're sending me a bill in the MAIL... I know if they're doing it to me they're ripping other people off to stay afloat! I have been trying to cancel my online subscription for a month now. I was charged 3 times this month, and every time I call to cancel and discuss the charges I am told by TPA (third party administrator) that the system is being upgraded and they cannot access it for 1-2 hrs. I call BS. I asked for an ETA on a day they would have no upgrades "I'm sorry mam, but we cannot access information for about 1-2 hrs" ok can I talk to your supervisor, do they have information on when this update would be complete or a day I can call so I am not wasting my time " sorry mam, but we cannot access any information for 1-2 hrs"...sounds like a damn scam to take my money and keep charging my subscription. I canceled my card so they can't charge me anymore. Then they actually called me and I asked them to cancel it and they said I would be charged for cancellation because I didn't have a working card on file. Screw that, you charged me $15.99 three times without informing me and I can't even access someone to get my money back. Somethings not right there. Do better. ZERO STARS! read more

Evidently I have an ad-block on my browser Chrome. I find it too time-consuming to try to remember how to UNblock ads on sites that want to shower me w/ ads. So I filled out the subscribe page, along w/ my credit card info. That brought to the "Agree to our terms of use." When I clicked on the Terms of Use, the page-blocking "Unblock your ads or Subscribe" appeared AGAIN. And I couldn't read what the Terms were - blocked, like the rest of the Gazette. I hate to give this review because it doesn't reflect how I feel about the people who actually work there but I am at my wit's end. I have been fighting with their billing department since April and it is impossible to actually talk to a human in Billings. It started out being my fault, I accidently used my personal credit card for a subscription for the company I work for. I noticed that day, contacted their billing dept, and gave them the correct credit card. They charged the correct credit card but told me they'd have to mail a check and it would take 4-6 weeks. Seemed weird but it was my mistake so I said ok. After 2 months, I received a check made out to my company. They would not cash the check for me so I contacted the Gazette's billing dept again. They said they would send me a check in my name. That was FOUR MONTHS ago. I call every week and nobody ever knows what I'm talking about. They hang up on me and give the wrong numbers to people they claim work in Billings. I've tried everything to get my $500 back from these people. Every time I call, they have the wrong amount, wrong address, wrong name, etc. It's insane to me that they couldn't just refund my card. Instead, they got $1000 from me and continue to give me the run-around. read more

Poor delivery service at best. After getting the paper for 40+ years, I've had enough. If it even snows, no matter how little, we could always count on no paper. Nice out? Papers laying out in the middle of the road. And if you call customer service you get different answers each time. One time I was told that they would credit my account, next time " Oh no, we don't credit accounts for missed papers". I ask for my delivery persons name, "Oh we don't give that out." Next time I call, this person(without my asking) makes sure that I have my delivery persons name. Seems to be typical of their service all around.........Don't miss it one bit read more

In total agreement with other reviews. Poor customer service. Missed papers ( we will contact your carrier and get one delivered ) Hah! Never ever see on delivered. Never see credit on account. "Subscription" paid through date never matches up with their "Accountants" subscription date. Funny.....on Billings Gazette letter head, it states paid through xx/xx/xxxx but my subscription expired a month earlier?? ( by the way Billings Gazette my statement of "Funny" was sarcasm! ) It might be time for a real accountant. Long time subscriber........never again. This is another lost customer. Extremely poor track record of actually getting the newspaper delivered. One would think that after enough complaints that they would replace the delivery person but no. Instead I get a runaround from their customer service that the cutoff for re-delivery is 9:45am. Customer service agent says that they text the re-delivery person with addresses missing their paper. I wasn't aware that texting stopped working after 9:45 in the morning. Mine seems to work just fine. Get it together Gazette. This is unacceptable customer service. read more

Terrible customer service. I received a call from a telemarketer offering the paper for $10 a month. I was told this would be the price until I was notified in writing that it will be changing. Ok, fine, I accepted the offer on June 5th and was told it would take 3 to 5 days to start. My credit card was billed June 7th. I still hadn't received the paper as of June 13th so I called and was assured by customer service I would begin receiving the paper June 14th. Sure enough, no paper on the 14th so again I wasted time on the phone with someone that could barely speak English. A paper arrived at who knows what time on the 14th and made it to recycling without being read because I don't have time after work to read the newspaper. Again on June 15th, no surprise, there was no paper. I called customer service and was once again assured the paper will arrive on June 16th in the morning. I told them I did not want a paper delivered late in the day and asked when I would be billed again. I was told the subscription expired July 8th. When I questioned that date, I was told it was changed to June 15th. I attempted to call someone in Billings because when you call customer service you get a call center in who knows where. I was able to reach the Editor, Darryl Ehrlick. I knew he would not be able to correct the problem and told him I understood that, I just wanted to talk to someone in Billings Montana because, after all, I was calling about the Billings Gazette. He was understanding and told me he would hand deliver my message to the circulation desk in Billings and if they were not able to return my call, he would within a few minutes. I felt good and was confident I would finally talk to someone in Billings. However, three and one half hours later, still no call. And at this point I don't expect to receive a call after 7 on a Friday night. I only hope I am able to cancel the auto payment from my credit come Monday morning. DO NOT ORDER THE BILLINGS GAZETTE with the expectation that it will arrive as promised. read more
