We were promised 11 different fitting dates and times, not once did this company turn up, citing different reasons and excuses. After six weeks of promised appointments to fit the flooring, on top of four weeks of waiting for them to obtain freely available materials, we are awaiting a refund of the deposit having cancelled the job. However, since cancelling the job, they have not answered 14 attempts to contact them, and have remained silent. Six weeks after requesting a refund, we are starting proceedings to recover the monies due as a business debt through the courts. Definitely do not use...

Slabcast were contracted by us to replace a concrete path and replace a down pipe less than six…read moremonths ago. The downpipe has still not been completed. The path has been completed to a substandard quality and the surface of the path is already starting to degrade due to insufficient cement in the mix on contacting them about this and asking if some one could come and complete the job and look at the sub standard workmanship and they just hung up the phone and refused to answer when i tried to call again. We moved into our new house 3 months late, yes there was a spell of bad weather but if they had just got on with it we could have been in on time. It's not until you move in with a building site on your doorstep, you actually realise how slow the builders work!! The amount of times you would see some people doing absolutely nothing for long periods of time, there's no wonder people complete late! Also, we were given a list of emergency numbers if we needed to contact someone at Broadgate in an emergency situation. There's about 5 numbers on this list and I couldn't get through to anybody! Don't think I would ever buy another Broadgate house again.
