He increased the rent from $2,600 to $3,600/month so I am not surprised the Gladewinds 3 bedroom detached unit is still empty 3 months later. I wish I had read previous reviewer comments before I rented b/c they are ALL true. He withheld $1,365 of my deposit for inflated & false reasons (i.e. He charged $884 plus a a 20% contractors fee to paint 1 small wall.) All the appliances are vintage 1980's. For example, the 25 year old microwave door handle fell off and was never fixed - I had to glue it back on. He charges for the key to use the clubhouse & for the gate fob. The primary job of his staff is to be a buffer so no one can talk to him. He doesn't answer his phone or texts. Bild Propeties is NOT acredited by the Better Business Bureau and has several claims. While not a horrible experience, my one year renting from Bild was unpleasant. I will never rent from them again and would very much not recommend renting from Bild Properties. I rented an apartment in the Spanish Trace Condominium. Some bad ceiling water damage that existed on move in they just refused to fix despite telling me they would when I signed the contract. They charged me $50 for repairs for damages that existed on move in. They took 3 months of me calling their office to fix said damages. Often I would call with problems, they would take my information and never call me back. On move out they took $150 out of my security deposit for "cleaning" although I had thoroughly cleaned to apartment on move out. read more

My experience with Bild Properties was awful from the very beginning. I suggest everyone getting a contract with these people to record everything they said because at the end they will twist and make up things to their convenience. Bild, once he gets the customer's money he will never face you. Not even when you have a problem with the property. His employees are most disrespectful and uneducated people in the world. I tried to reach Alfredo Bild for a week and his assistant told me he did not want to talk to me. They send people to the property without my knowledge or without calling me before. They took money from me from my security deposit for ridiculous things that they knew from the beginning those thing never worked. They even make a list of the first 10 days of what needs to be fix in the apartment and at the end they take money from you to fix those things. Those people are DISRESPECTFUL, UNEDUCATED, LIARS. This guy is a crook! Do not entrust him to manage your property!! The poor owner of a property we rented through Bild had no idea of the plumbing issues her property was encountering. We reported the issues on 9 different occasions. He would always send his "not so" handyman to put bandaid type fixes. Eventually, the pipes burst while we were on vacation, only to come back to a flooded home with most of our furniture ruined. Thank goodness we had renters insurance because Bild took no responsibility. We decided not to renew the lease and moved. I then called the poor owner direct, as she lived in NY. She was not aware of any of the issues at the property, he didn't even tell her that the place was flooded! We finally had to threaten a lawsuit to get our deposit back. He rents old properties that are run down, with old appliances, old fixtures and bathrooms and unethically keeps the tenant's security deposit to upgrade his ugly houses. To say that doing business with them has been the worst service is an understatement. It took 10 months to get our shower that was oxidized fixed. Then getting the deposit check back has been a hassle and a half. When picking up the check he even hid in his office to avoid giving the check. Unfortunately this guy owns a property right behind my property. His property is run down and one of the worst properties in the neighborhood. During hurricane Irma his fence behind my house fell down. After three weeks I was finally able to speak to him. He claimed it was my fence and my responsibility. I sent him a survey showing it's his fence and I even offered to pay half of the cost to repair it. His response was nothing short of rude. Do NOT use. My apartment was given to us in am unsantiary manner. There were ants in the kitchen, the carpet was filthy black and spot painted. I was also told the unit I would be renting was being refinanced. 3 weeks after move in we received final judgment of forclosure. Put for auction in August. Offered us out of lease if we paid rent and would return deposit. Just to be able to rent to someone who wouldn't receive that notice in the mail & he would then have the opportunity to collect rent. He knew we had a baby with special needs and still did this. They are untrustworthy. He has every intention to ruin someone elses life if given the opportunity. After reading these two other reviews, I am glad I experienced the lack of professionalism and rudeness from this business first hand and did not suffer the same or similar incidents as the 2 reviewers did. I would report them to the Miami Board of Realtors Association in a heartbeat. I called on a Friday morning around 10:30am to inquire about a rental listing, left details and contact info to view. I was drilled by staff about credit and deposit amounts without even seeing the property in person. By 1:30pm still no call back, I called again and left another message, was given a vague excuse and not so sincere apology. By 4:10pm still no return call, I called to inquire and complain about the horrific experience and customer service I had been provided this far, and the receptionist raised her voice to me (basically yelling) that she had no clue about what I was calling about. If this is what you need to endure to see a rental property I'd hate to reside in a property owned or managed by ALFREDO BILD - God knows what shady or conniving practices they use for property sales if these practices are used for a simple property viewing. Shortly after writing this review I received a call from Alfredo Bild's staff and was transferred to Mr. BIld himself, I told him about my experience, my online findings of his business practices and how his reputation proceeds him, he tried to discredit the other reviews and had a nasty attitude right from jump street.
