So I went to the Westfield Village for their annual Halloween event and this business was there making balloon art. Of course my son wanted one so we waited in line. It was so popular that we waited maybe 30 mins to an hour but we didn't mind! When we were maybe the third group next a woman came up to one of the gentleman making the art and asked to be next. He assured her that there was a line already and she would have to wait. She was being unreasonable and offering money but he stayed strong and told her no. At some point in this weird interaction his balloon station fell. Instead of letting his anger get to him he handled it in the most gracious possible way. Took a few steps, cooled off and others came to help him out. (My costume was so restricting so I couldn't help :/) While this whole thing was happening the rude woman finally just left. For how professional that guy was and how he kept it together, as a bystander I felt terrible for him but I appreciated his kindness. He later went to help others with their balloons and was so beyond kind! The gentleman who made our balloon was also just as kind. I asked him if he could make a Yoshi and suggested just using green. We booked a kids' birthday party with BigRed Entertainment through Grace, and she was absolutely amazing! Grace is kind, responsive, and sent us the most incredible talent. The face painter brought our theme to life with beautiful, creative designs that the kids (and us adults!) loved. The balloon artist (we chose the Expert Level) completely blew us away (no pun intended). These were the coolest, most imaginative balloons we've ever seen, beyond anything we thought possible. Though the party was for my son, there was a lot of adults in attendance. The balloons were pure art! The adults LOVED the entertainers. I saw Big Red doing balloon animals (at an unnamed celebrities party) and was blown away. Pun intended. Remember when you thought balloon animals were ONLY for kids. I think this guy can create a balloon version of a Pope's coronation, that's how detailed and cool his balloons were. (my fave was his balloon recreation of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater home) Besides that, "Big Red" himself is pretty "rad". We used BigRed for our Son's first birthday party 2 years ago and we had to use them again for my daughter's first birthday last week. They are amazing!!!! They showed up early to set up and were very professional. We had BigRed for the balloons and Kelly for caricatures both times and all our guests were very happy. Bill was super awesome and creative! The line for his creations was so long at our event and we had to cut off the line! People walked away with Viking hats, turtles on their wrists, wings, septers, etc! When it was my turn, I asked him to surprise me since I didn't know what I wanted him to make me. We had a balloon artist lady who did a good job with making cool balloons. The reason why I'm giving them 3 instead of 5 stars is due to some complaints I got from other parents at the party. One of things they didn't like is that they had to get up from their dining tables and go TO her to get a balloon animal instead of her coming to their table. When I initially asked her to go from table to table, she said that was inconvenient for her. Other balloon artist companies I know were able to go from table to table and make the balloons for the kids. The other complaint I got was from a parent who got a balloon animal that required some marker artwork on the balloon. The balloon artist didn't wait for the ink to dry and it got all over the little kid's hands. When the dad asked if it was non toxic ink she said probably not and didn't seem to care. read more

The ballon guy is an ahole, my 6 year old kid asked him for a ninja turtle and he gave him a little turtle bracelet. My kid was nice enough to accept it but then he got upset when he saw other kids getting big ballon jetpacks, fire breathing dragons, etc. my kid almost beg him to make him something cool like that and he made wait at least a couple of hours, after about 50 other kids and never got anything, tried to be civilized and not make a big deal out of it but it pisses me off seen my kid asking, he had the chance to make it up to him but he just ignored him. And his craft...unbelievable. We were in a public place, and so many people walking by just stopped and gawked...and took his card. Not only is Big Red a very talented ballon artist, but he was kind enough to stay an extra hour than what we initially agreed on. Both the children and adults were amazed at all the balloons he made.
