The first photographer we found decided that they would not do the photobooth that we had requested. We are so happy that we found Lydia last minute. She exceeded all expectations and saved the day. She is also very affordable. The pictures turned out amazing and our wedding was featured on the offbeat bride: http://offbeatbride.com/2010/09/canada-feather-lesbian-wedding She was able to do all the specialty things that we wanted which made an amazing guestbook that we made out of the photos of people with a chalkboard that they wrote on and used the other photobooth pictures as thank you cards. Also during the ceremony we did not even notice her once but she shot tons of great pictures. We loved her and would definitely use her in the future for all of our photo needs. Kerri and Kai

Great place to get your passport photo done. I got my old ones from Blacks years ago (no wonder…read morethey went out of business!) and they were so bad that I have had border agents LAUGH at my photo because I looked like I was having a very rough day. Stumbled upon Superbest Photos on Yelp and it was conveniently located downtown. Went on my lunch break to get my passport photos done and what a difference!!! They use professional lighting here so you don't look like you have perma-RBF since you can't smile in passport photos anymore. They also took multiple shots and let me pick the best one. Service was great and fast and honestly the best passport photos I have had in a while. I recently came back to get my headshots done, also very happy with the results. Anthony was great and really made sure I was happy with the results. They have a $49 option without retouching, and a $99 option with retouching included. Anthony actually told me I probably didn't need the $99 option (awww!) and I was very happy with the final product. I got the photos the same day, an hour later and he made sure the lighting was good! I remember getting my passport photos and school photos done waaaay back in the day in studios like this, so not only was it a nostalgic experience, but also phenomenal service and a great business overall. They also have their Yelp award proudly displayed and I can see why. If you are reading this review, I urge you to get your photo done here, this is a great way to support a good local business and there is truly a big difference to what you will get from a LD or Shoppers!

My visit was very pleasant, efficient, and I can see why the high star rating is consistent for this business. Anthony is a professional who has been in business here since 1990! This is certainly a business I can get behind supporting. Show some love if you're in the market for passport photos or a business/professional portrait :)

One time we even hung out with them in their cute studio drinking lattes for 2 hours talking about Switzerland! They were unwaveringly prompt in replying to questions, professional, organized about what we needed them to do for us, and always offered a smile and a sunny disposition. At the event, Roger literally ran around to make sure he used up every second possible to get in good photographs. Ian and I didn't have to be in charge of what photos we wanted - Roger knew beforehand and herded us around to get great pictures. He's clearly experienced, as he made sure we looked good for each pose before he snapped the shot and so we didn't have to stand around long for each picture. He also was great at commanding Ian's boisterous family! Holly obviously loves what she does and is so sweet in working with her clients. She's always grinning, giggling, or shedding a genuine tear from the happiness of her job. She got some really great candids of our guests! All in all Holly & Roger were great to hang out with on the day, and that can mean a lot since you spend so much time near them. The photos are great quality, and we've gotten lots of compliments on their art. I definitely see the value in what we paid for - worth every penny.
