I am told at drive thru... ANY. Drink $4 off. My drink comes to 7.38 - this should be 3.38ish ( depending on tax) and they want to charge almost $6!! I sit for 10 min while they try and figure it out, call mgr etc... nope almost $6... apparently after asking twice and being told twice.. $4 off ANY drink .... there is a clause, if you add anything, like a shot... it doesn't count. Thomas Belongia leaves very distasteful and unprofessional voicemails on the phones of delivery drivers. He called a pizza delivery driver awful names in a voicemail. He also doesn't tip. He doesn't tip for huge milk deliveries that consist of 30+ gallons of milk! The instacart/doordash drivers are scammed on tips. I love Biggby coffee and I have for years. Unfortunately, however, it doesn't seem that many of these cute little coffee shops exist in Wisconsin - there aren't even any in Milwaukee as I write this - which makes residents of Wausau very lucky. The store is very cute and well cleaned and exceptionally charming. There are quite a few drink options including the typical hot, iced or frozen options, but there aren't so many flavors that anyone but an aficionado would be overwhelmed. I am always impressed by the speedy service and warm greetings. The coffee is prepared with great consistency, as my typical drink, the caramel mocha, has been the same for the last few years every time I've gone. The food is also very good from the few times I've had it. A drive thru is appealing for those who are in a bit of a hurry, and the line moves steadily along. Ultimately, for those of you who skipped to the end of this novel, this coffee shop can easily compete with larger coffee chains. Biggby Coffee has a more local feel and warm atmosphere at typical gourmet prices, and if you haven't already, I strongly encourage you to try their store out. read more

As I travel often for business, finding a quality breakfast outside of the hotel can be challenging. I thought I would give Biggby a try; I had the Chai Tea Latte which I found to be more pleasing then the drink of the same name found at Starbucks. Biggby's version is much less syrupy and had a good finish. I also ordered the Ham and Cheese Bragel. I am not accustomed to having a bagel sandwich that includes cream cheese and is then heated. I was wary, but found the flavor of the warm cream cheese and the slice of cheddar went well together. Restaurant is large and open including WIFI. this place is awful... there is no responsibility to be had at all. I have tried it a few times, and every time is the same. I go and wait 5 minutes for someone sitting on their phone to realize i'm there, then take my order. then I wait 10 minutes just to see that my order is not correct. Hubs and I got a coupon so we decided to bypass Starbucks and give it a try. We ordered 2 grande coffee frapps with whipped cream and were astounded when clerk tells us our total was 9 bucks and change without the coupon. Starbucks is less than $8 and is sweeter and creamier. They serve decent coffee, with average prices and friendly service. There is a nice urban coffee shop layout to the place making it comfortable to relax, meet up with a friend or study. All in all it would get four stars....only problem is, they play crappy pop music way to loud. You can't concentrate on anything but the music. Turn down the music and you've got a winner. I ordered a small but receive a cup a size between grande/venti at Starbucks, nice. Medium roast was mild, a served very hot. I love their drinks, but my favorite thing is their bagel sandwiches. They are simple and delicious, not like some other places that microwave their rubbery wraps. Biggby has a comfortable setting and never feels crowded. Ordered two large containers of coffee for a meeting. First they said they'd be done in 15-20. Nope much longer. Then they call and bother people all over town trying to find me to bring containers back based on what I was wearing. How embarrassing. First, no deadline was given. Second why don't you take the persons name that took them?! Talked to manager she said her people told her they'd be back by 3. Lies. I would know if there was a deadline. All she said was "just make sure you bring them back." Which I did. And to top it off everyone at my meeting complained about how bad the coffee was. $85 and that's what I got. read more

My Wife got the Neopolitan Latta she said the strawberry and chocolate we great togeather! So this morning, I wake up and have one thing on my mind...Turkey. Ok? How does this relate to a coffee review? Well my girlfriend and I drove all the way from Minneapolis and stopped at the prestigious Biggby Coffee. This moment was really going to set the tone for thanksgiving dinner. I prefer to go into thanksgiving dinner with a-little pep in my step to beat all the relatives to the counter to start filling up my plate. However, this year, I think I will be moving at a slower pace than usual. Why? Not only am I physically lacking performance at the thanksgiving table but I am also mentally shook. I first wanted a peppermint coffee but they didn't have a warm version only cold...so I settled. Settled for a warm pumpkin spice latte which was risky considering we are riding the coat tails of fall at this point...hence why I am wanted the peppermint! Anyway! I get a small PSL and they charge me $5.76!!!! This is outrageous, so if the scale is true, that means I would be paying $16 for a large? Shaking my head. Anyways I wouldn't mind paying that money for a good coffee...but this was not the case. My girlfriend, who has asked to remain anonymous has traveled the world tasting different coffees and she gave the PSL from Biggbys a 2.5/10 and she is in a great mood so this score could have potentially been lower. You know what they say, be safe and go to starbucks for your overpriced coffee but on this Thanksgiving I will have to chalk this one up as a loss. Side note: the lady behind the counter was very nice and girlfriend tipped her 14 cents because she didn't want anymore change in her car.
