They have increased their selection of services and updated their interior layout. Sent a text to see if there was availability and they replied right away. I opted for the 90 minute head, shoulder, leg and back massage. The first hour was ok....I wish he would have applied more pressure but there was a language barrier, and the room was very quiet, so I said nothing. When I turned over to have the therapist work on my back for the last 25 minutes, is when the magic happened. Oh my goodness. What a great, HARD massage! Felt wonderful. This was an interesting place in that all of the massage beds are communal, and in one big room. You keep all of your clothes on, but it works. I was uncomfortable for the first 45 minutes in that my feet were in a bucket but the rest of my body was lying flat. Made for some big lower back pain. Thankfully, he worked it all out. My friend and I were able to walk right in on a Friday afternoon with no problems. The place is small with maybe 10 beds and there were about 6 other patrons there with us. If you've never been to a Chinese Foot Spa, don't expect a normal European/American spa setting. We are all in a communal area (which means it isn't completely quiet), keep our clothes on, and the massage is more reflexology/pressure points vs swedish. We chose the $30 service which includes a 30 min foot/calf massage & 30 min full body massage. I have been to nicer places, but would come back to this place if ever in the area. My friend has been talking about this place for a while and I finally met her here to check it out. I always like Reflexology massages. The interior was really nice and clean. The area is open and has low lighting for people to relax. The prices here are really good. I ended up getting the 70 minute massage for $36. My guy was really good in giving the reflexology massage but my friend didn't enjoy her massage. I felt really relaxed and felt like the tension was melting away. I've been to other locations where they gave me a massage and I felt like I was going to break but not at this location. It was so relaxing during my time here but I did not enjoy the fact that the employees were talking to each other. Also, someone was so relaxed on the other side of the room that they were snoring! Amazing Deep tissue massage. Very clean. I had tightness from my lower back , hamstrings , calves. After 70 mins and $36 with Tom I feel very relieved and feel very relaxed. He knew where to find the pressure points ! The quality of the massage is very similar to the ones I got in China. The foot massage is very relaxing, I was snoring away in no time ! I sent my husband and 2 daughters tonight for a Father's Day. All my husband has said almost every night after being on his feet for 14+ hours a day "I just want someone to rub my feet for an hour"... Well here you have it! Our daughter found Bigfoot on Yelp and the reviews were great! I'm adding to it! He was more than surprised! At first he was a little reluctant, but his eyes were covered, he was laying down, and covered with a blanket. He relaxed very quickly! (And dozed of... My daughters said he snored a little) hehe. This has become my favorite massage therapy location in Texas! You enter a calming and dim room with massage tables located in a very private arrangement. There's somewhere to securely put your phone, keys, etc right by the table. You're brought a pot (for lack of the correct term) of warm water that you soak your feet in to begin. Then the magic begins! Every masseuse here is excellent, very familiar with the meridians and how to relieve muscle tension, pain, headaches, and migraines. I've used my body hard my whole life and work as hard as I play so it hurts, everywhere. I feel like a young(er!!) man after a treatment here. Pricing is what I personally consider to be the best value in the Metroplex. A safe environment, I've brought my college aged daughter here for massages and never a concern, every staff member very respectful and polite, I'd go here 3x a week if I had more time and money (3 college kids). I didnt get the full 60 minutes. Sat with my feet in the bucket for 10 minutes then after hearing and seeing several employees walk past me finally someone sort of greeted me. Then the guy uses zero pressure, what a let down! I like to try new reflex spots and frequent these places at least once or twice a week, since im a massage therapist . Go down the street to Foot Relax on Harwood and 121, the chairs are more comfy too. Also, X & F in Flower Mound was my favorite but a little out of the way for me. read more

If you have never been here before it is a little different than other massage places. You are in one large room with about a dozen beds. There is no privacy but women keep their clothes on. My masseuse had me remove my shirt. Tonight I got Tim and he was very good at his job. I started out sitting down and he brings out a wooden bucket lined with plastic, half filled with warm water. He placed my feet in the water, then had me lay back. With my legs down in the bucket, my back was slightly arched and it was a little hard to completely relax. Plus the edge of the bucket presses in hard against your leg if you relax your legs so it is a bit uncomfortable having to hold your legs in position while trying to relax for the neck massage. He massaged my face, head, neck, shoulders and that part feels great. Meanwhile my feet were getting a bit waterlogged. He then took the water bucket away (thankfully) and massaged my feet, calves, legs, back and arms. The actual massage part was great. Tim is skilled so be sure to ask for him. The atmosphere is dark, the music is relaxing, the room temperature was comfortable. The staff is friendly. The only big complaint I have is that the oily lotion is really cold and they glop on a whole lot of it. I just did not enjoy the feeling of a huge handful of cold, oily, lotion being slathered on really thick, especially when every other spa uses warm oil. The beds are just not that comfortable and I found that having my back arched for so long actually hurt it somewhat. I was rather sore upon getting up. They do wipe off the lotion when you are done though. The whole experience is OK, but could be made better by warming the lotion and maybe having curtains between the beds to give a little privacy. And just wrapping your feet in hot wet towels rather than a hard edged wooden bucket. I was charged $39 for a 70 minute session. This was my second time there, but I will probably be going back to Elixer in Southlake next time for a more traditional experience even though it is a little more expensive. read more

This place is a great go to, as it isn't too hard to get an appointment. The only complaint I'd have about this place is it's not super quiet you can hear people coming in and out of the front door and if the workers are talking a bit outside of your room you can hear hat too... they just have curtains vs doors to each massage area. I came here on a whim because I was super stressed and my shoulders were aching. Louis was my therapist and he did a great job. I asked for deep pressure and his hands are nice and strong. 70 minutes later I came out completely relaxed. It was the best 70 minutes ever. The process is a little quirky and it's not your typical private massage room but I really was OK with all of it. People are nice and that's about where the good part ends. My therapist kept breathing hard and coughing and burping. It was kind of gross. It was not a good massage, so I asked that they just do my feet and lower legs. Switched and was just doing my feet and lower legs and then at the end still massage massage even though I got up and lower legs. I would recommend avoiding this place. read more

My husband and I came in today for the first time. We received 60 mins each of a foot refloxogy massage. First started out by placing our feet in a medium hot bucket of water and we lay on our backs on the relaxing chair with a towel over our bodies and face. About 15 mins later the foot massage started and it was amazing!! My husband and I both looked at each other with smiles on our faces after our foot massage. Prices are good for the combination massages that are offered. However there are some things that I did notice. As another reviewer mentioned, lighting was brighter than normal. Not as dim as most places i've been too, and they dont have the eye cover on at all times. However, the day after the massage my entire back/neck is sore from the massage. He had really strong hands and used a lot of pressure to the point where it felt unbearable. There were times when he asked if it was too much pressure, and to be honest the strong pressure was fine at some spots. It breaks my heart to write this review. I've been a customer since they opened. The level of service has always fluctuated but overall been good. I have bought many gift certificates for friends and told many people to try them out. The last two times I've been I did not feel like the therapist knew what they were doing. It almost felt like they were lazy. Today is the last time I will visit. My therapist literally fell asleep while massaging my shoulders and then again while doing my feet. I received massage on my feet, legs, kneecaps, a nice firm stretching out which popped my back 3 times! The only thing at Big Foot that was uncomfortable was having my feet in the bucket while on my back and having my scalp massaged. I have sciata and that position made my back hurt even more.
