If I could give this location a zero. Bad customer service. They have two line and I was at the shortest line. Still waited for 30 min til can can ranch the service line to start take my cans out. While doing my cans. Two cars that just pulled up was done before me. While I was still doing my can. Dude came up and said I either have to come back or wait because they have to go to lunch. Mind you I already have 5 buckets full of cans. no warning on going to lunch. And now I'm out here waiting for them to get back from lunch. I feel like you should at least take turns to go on lunch or put a sign out there and block the line at least 10 minutes before going to lunch. read more

So unorganized as are some recyclers. You drive thru and have to wait for whoever is in front of you to separate their items like cans, water bottles and beer bottles. One woman holding up the line, had her stuff in a bunch of plastic grocery bags with a mixture of everything in them. She moved like a sloth, no exaggeration and kept walking back to the drivers window talking to someone inside. It was very aggravating to me and everyone else. I spoke to the "supervisor" and told her how unfair and ridiculous it was to make people wait in the hot sun for someone who clearly was not ready for the task. Went to Bigfoot recycling today behind Holiday Market on Hartnell Ave. The line was really long, about a dozen cars. I decided since my car was already filled up with cans and bottles that I would wait. Waited an hour to just get up to the front where I could separate my cans and bottles. As I waited, I noticed that the people in the front of the line were leaving there cars parked in the line while they were waiting to get paid for their cans. I couldn't believe that not one of them had the common sense to think of the people behind them and move their car out of the way. After I separated all of my recyclables, I got in my car and moved it off to the side. I noticed two women on bikes coming up with recyclables, they did not go wait in line but just started separating their recyclables. The Bigfoot employees seem to be okay with this. I had been waiting for over an hour and a half already. A few minutes later an employee came up to me and told me that they were going to lunch and I would have to wait till they got back in 30 minutes. At this point I was pretty angry, they cashed out the gal on her bicycle who had just shown at 15 minutes prior. I really didn't have any other choice but to wait. About 10 minutes later an employee said they would cash me out. I asked the Bigfoot employee why they allow the customers to leave their cars in line when they're waiting to get paid for the recycling. He told me they asked them to move but they don't always move, and they don't enforce it. Today however, they just didn't bother to even show up at all. 10:30 and a line of 10 cars still sitting there and no one...Seriously, if this is a business? It takes up time and crv barrels if folks do it there.folks might not like it in the beginning but after a month or so you'll see a big difference in how it's working.less wait times no standing around trying to get. Barrels. It ran a recycling center and when we asked folks to please next time have there crv separated and for the most part people did. And it made a big difference not only did it get folks in and out faster but it cut back on hiring extra employees. When I left we had it down to where there were hardly anybody waiting more than 5 to 10min from start to finish ( also depends on how much material a person brings in could take less or a few minutes longer ) it takes a stick to your guns attitude and not give people breaks over and over with that policy.. try it you'll see in a month how much smoother everything runs.. customers will be so much happier .. read more
