As this did not answer my question, I asked again, and she again said "can I help you?" I said "I just want a diet coke", she responded, "you want a 20 oz diet coke, I'm going to need to see $3." Well, I actually wanted a fountain drink--not a bottle, and was going to buy it with a card or apple pay--and this woman did not seem receptive to any of that information. I don't enjoy being treated like a criminal, or rudely, so I chose to get back into my car and leave. If you have to lock the doors and have the attendant get what you need from the store, it would be nice if they weren't killing you with their eyes while they do it. Optimally, this sort of service would only be required later in the night when it would be reasonable or customary to lock the doors.
